:ru: very good liveperforment and Russia will get lots of televoting points

Very good chance to Qualifly like 80%
:ua: Think both jury and televoting vill vote enought for here. Also very good odds
:no: TIX will stand out and not many others male in this semifinals. Also good show/voice
:se: They always qualifly and Tusse will be good enough. Jury will probably vote this in and he and Tix is nearly the only males here together with Lithuania and Macedonia.

:il: Think jury will save this and get some points from televoting
:be: Another song saved by the jury. Lesser points from televoting, but still enough to qualifly
:az: Well Azerbaijan is popular in televoting and that will perhaps be enough. But they need to get support from Russia, Ukraine, Romania and perhaps balkan/ South Europa and Belgium/ The Netherlands (disapper vote)

Borderline - (very close to qualifly)
:hr: Could see this easy take a place, but go for Israel and Belgium more popular by the jury and not enough points by the televoting. But would not be shocked if i take wrong. Need help from Macedonia and Slovenia. Also hope Italy, Cyprus, Malta and Romania will give them some good points.
:sl: Bad running order and not sure jury or televoting will give this enough points. Still Ana has amazing vocal and this song could be underrathed by the odds.
:ro: bad vocal and many others songs fight for the same votes. Still a nice entry who could sneak in. Think this and Ireland could just be the loser of the popwomen. Also missing Moldova is not good for them. Italy will probably give them 12 points from televoting, but don,t seemany others give them high enough points.
:ie: Same like Romania. Also know that Ireland have few friends

Could have a chance, but probably out
:au::mk: Both songs needs the jury to save it. In the end i think it is other songs who jury will vote it and don,t see the televoting vote for it. Sorry to both, but some songs will just get lost. I think this two is most likely to do that

The biggest problem for Slovenia is the terrible running order. It almost kills any chances existed.

The thing with Slovenia, is I don't think juries will completely ignore it....but I also think they'll perform very poorly in the televote. (and I don't think the juries are going to be able to save it) I could see it being one of the more stark differences between the public and the jury.

With Azerbaijan and Israel, I feel like neither of them are going to get overwhelming public support, in any other semi I could see Azerbaijan performing well but this semi is just so competitive.

I think the vibe of the Romanian song and the hype surrounding it will give Romania a good televote result even if the performance isn't the strongest but I think the juries will knock it out. Like I said earlier, in a weaker semi I could see Romania getting a strong enough televote result so the jury score wouldn't matter, but not in this semi.

Also I'm starting to think Israel could severely underperform in both the public vote and juries, undeservedly so. My mindset is that the public and jury might agree on Israel (and rank it maybe 11th or 12th)....but not agree on a bunch of the songs surrounding it in the ranking (like Slovenia)....thus Israel gets pushed down to 15th even though they don't perform that badly in either the televote or jury vote.

Eh I wasn`t really feeling my old prediction. So I did (another) voting simulation.
The Jury-Voting is based on: Qualification-Odds, press reviews, voting patterns, the Euro Jury results and fan polls.
The Televoting is based on: Winning-Odds, voting patterns, YT-Views and fan polls.

If there is any justice though, juries shouldn't support Sweden that hard for them to be pushed into the final.
Belgium will enjoy mostly jury support but as there are more jury friendly songs, they won't be placed high enough with the juries to compensate their lack of televoting support.

This prediction will probable change within a couple of hours though :ROFLMAO:

I'm very surprised to see 121 people voted for Lithuania. I think they don't really have a chance.

It isn't an impossibility; they are first up in the running order and there doesn't seem to be quite as much hype around them this time around as last year. I could see the judges giving them a fair fist full of votes but it feels like it might be a close run thing either way.

I think that Sweden or Belgium are closer to be the shocking NQ of the semi. Even if Discoteque is not as strong as On Fire was it still has a lot of potential in both juries and t/v.

Not much hype with the fandom. But don't forget that for the general public The Roop and their song will be new.

The "dance alone right at your home"-part suits the corona situation perfectly and it will have an instant impact. I think they will get a lot of televotes and end in the top 3 of this semi.

With Ireland I'm most unsure.. her vocals need to be on point during the shows and staging not too sterile.. if it's like that I think she will get good points both from juries and from public. Otherwise Australia/Azerbaijan have a shot.

Belgium would not be shocking, but undeserved.

Sweden would also not be shocking for a bland song, but they are expected to sail through no matter what.

Writing this without seeing the Jury Shows:

Qualifiers:
Ukraine, Cyprus, Russia, Lithuania, Malta, Croatia, Azerbaijan, Australia, Ireland and Israel.

I see Australia, Ireland, Azerbaijan and Israel as borderline as are Sweden and Belgium.

I may give final and more detailed thoughts after the Jury Show but before the Semifinal.
