This song I barely listened to 20 seconds before I switched songs. I hated the style as it looked like 1950s/60s.

hmmmm I'm interested to see it now. If the never seen before technology is just those lights dress, then i'm afraid that's nonsense because I've seen it loads of times already.

It must do. "brand new technology which has never been seen before" cannot possibly be just the lights on the clothing.

This has given me a shred of hope now. :D

Couldn't 'never been seen before' just mean never seen at Eurovision? Unless there is some sort of visual effect on the cameras that no one in the press/rehearsal has seen yet?

Dresses that light up isn't exactly never seen before in eurovision though.

So the person revealing the points from the UK this year is.... Nigella Lawson.

A bit random.

If there's something truly special then even I haven't seen it yet. It's just the neon stuff and a backflip as far as I can see. Maybe they're keeping it really secret...

If this is going to be a running theme of randomness for the UK spokesperson, then I nominate Prince Harry for next year.

'So what year were EUROVISION fans told: Don't stand up or you'll get shot... or Jimmy Page backed Cliff? On the eve of next Saturday's show, find out in our hilarious review'

Nigella is doing the scores? Hahah!

1999: After native language rules were dropped, 14 of the 23 countries decided to sing in English, so UK viewers can grasp the full horror of the lyrics for the first time.

Oh that was fantastic! I wish I had read it before getting into Eurovision! Why didn't they write it a while ago, then lavieenrose could have shown it to me and...

I'd've run a mile! :p
