The problem with this process is that you play all five songs, and there is a clear favourite, but that isn't the one he picked. Talk about egg on face! Outlaw In 'Em is so good that the other 2 songs don't matter. That is the one to send. And I don't even like country music but bloody hell that song is great.

This is year is so tragic that "Outlaw in em" is what I usually hate in music but... I love this song. I'm probably just desperate to find something I like...

For me, so far, I enjoyed more the songs 2 and 4.
Song 3 was bad imo

It's probably best if I just wait for the entry before I say anything. I think me listening through five Waylon songs wouldn't be the most healthy thing for me or the current purity of this topic.

"Calm After The Storm" was tolerable (nice performance) but i'm not a fan. I love country music by the way. Just generally not Europeans in hats faking it. Will give a fair chance to his song though, despite the fact this internal choice isn't filling me with excitement.

Excessive amounts of steel guitar is my greatest weakness. It doesn't matter what the song is, or the artist performing it. When I hear the twang of steel guitar i'm moist. Waylon knows what he has to do. Give me some Hawaiian steel guitar realness.
