Cydoni-Gibberia's next entry will hopefully bring "A Splash Of Colour" (trolololo, hosting joke) to the proceedings in NSC 71, with Coldplay's latest song and lead single from their new album. Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall, despite the slit-your-wrist depressing title is a jolly, uplifting number which will hopefully put a smile on some of your faces

And yes, The Script and Coldplay, I think I'm going mad. Normal hipster underground stuff next edition, I promise you =D

Woohoo! Thanks for everyone who voted us into the final for the first time since we hosted! Only 3 editions out of the final, that's a bit strange... Hope you'll continue your support into the final although I have no idea how I'm gonna do Probably badly, knowing me ^^

For next edition Cygo looks set to choose internally again, a band that was in one of our NFs many many editions ago but never really hit the big time. Their new song is an infectious slice of summery indie though, and we're addicted, so stay tuned...

On another, slightly related note, InnerPartySystem (Cydoni-Gibberia 24, 29, 51) have announced that they are going on an "indefinite hiatus". Bollocks. =(

Cygo has *finally* confirmed for NSC 72 after many many plays of many many songs to choose the perfect entry. We decided this time to go for what has often been defined as a masterpiece, with one of the best build ups I have ever heard in a song. It's a British indie band who for some reason or another has never been in NSC, and undeservedly so, therefore I decided to give them the chance they deserve, directly qualified into the final, and we'll see where they can go from there! I dunno what to expect from this edition but I'm hoping that there are certain people who will appreciate it

Making their first appearance in the contest, one of the biggest indie bands around at the moment, Foals, will be flying the Cydu flag for us in the final of NSC 72. Having previously appeared in the notorious Cygovision 66, finishing in a not-very-respectable 8th place, Foals are back to tackle the contest head on, albeit with a completely different style of song. An unusual style of entry from Cydoni-Gibberia, CyGiTV has elected to send "Spanish Sahara", the first song released from their 2010 album Total Life Forever.

Not sure what to expect from this one, but hopefully someone out there will like it
