My friends, I am so sorry, but in my overzealous joy about this great song, I cooked Belgian waffles for Matt. I used too much eggs...and not enough cooking...and so he has food poisoning from the raw eggs. Many many apologies to all the fans who are waiting for the next country, I promise to never cook for Matt again!




on an interesting twist in the plotline, the forum member who is behind the Morenik character actually has food poisoning. so cruel is fate!

Oh. I thought Matt decided to let us all enjoy the great Belgian song for one more day. Such fun!

Robert is the first to hit the 80 mark, but in terms of positions, no change at all near the top. At the bottom, Dark Master's unexpected 5 points puts him slightly closer to the pack, and Alex's 0 points put him right down with Bob and Lizzy.

Agree with this. 3 points from me too. The song is a nice lullaby-ish ballad, she has got very sweet voice and she's very pretty, but it's forgettable and doesn't have any climax. I can't recall its melody after several times I listened to it. This might qualify, though, but I don't see doing well in the final if it does qualify. I expect it not higher than 20th.

O dear, this is another Eurovision ballad. I haven't really recovered yet from some other Eurovision ballads this year.

At least this one doesn't sound so meaningless and helplessly floating like some other ballads we've heard . Have you already recovered from, you know, that ballad we listened to a few weeks ago?

Oh, okay let's get back to the Estonian song. Are they trying to be as successful as last year?

No I don't think so. It surely won't be as successful. Last year's Estonian ballad had some brilliance and power to it and it had a remarkable hook. Oh yes, kuula, kuula, kuula, I can still hear it in my ears and in my dreams. Oh, Ott, how enchanting you were. You can always come walk down my stairs in the condition that you were in when you were announced the winner of the Estonian National Final.

......Oh dear, there's really not much useful to say about this entry. It's a nice ballad, carefully written by a songwriter on just a regular week day.

I could play this during my candlelight suppers. Nobody would feel bothered by it. Or maybe even notice it's a song for a contest as big as Eurovision. Some things can be totally unremarkable yet pleasant at the same time.
