4 points. This is a song that is composed by a greek composer. The song is good but sometimes I wonder is there own composers in Azerbaijan at all?:p

You know, from the Faroe Islands, you can observe what is happening in your not so distant neighbourhood. Having said that, I came to a conclusion that the Dark Lord is keeping most of the eurovision fans under the Imperius curse. His plot to make Ms. Burger win this thing, came more obvious when he used Lucius Malfoy to sing for Iceland. He, too, is adored by the fans, despite the fact that what he is singing is an Icelandic bad version of "I am a cow". The precise meaning of his song is "I am a Death Eater".

AZERBAIJAN

Oh dear. It's the Azeri entry. Can you guess what type of song it is and how it sounds, Liz?

Oh...the Azeri entry... I guess it probably sounds like a generic midtempo pop ballad with airy echoes, made with Swedish precision...am I right?

c6d5x.png
That is absolutely correct, Liz. But it wasn't such a difficult guess was it? Just like the last few years they send a Swedish produced middle of the road ballad that has just the right ingredients to please the masses. And they will gobble this up again like cake.

Well, one thing that the Azeri's can't be accused of is that their songs are "too original and not suitabe for Eurovision".

c6d5x.png
The song is as good as an air-filled sofa from the IKEA. It's a solid, useful product, but lightweight and hollow. And it sounds like it was produced in bulk.

96f5tv.png
It's a pleasant tune, but knowing Azerbaijan's entry history, we just have to roll our eyes watching this.

Yes, it's like the Azeris can't find anything of their own that they can proudly show in a competition like Eurovision.

Or feel comfortable enough with to use in a song contest.

After much contemplation we've decided to give this entry a meager 1 point.

This Azerbaijan entry is too original and not suitable for Eurovision. It's up there with the likes of Elli and Nikki and that woman from a couple of years ago who's name I made myself forget... something about teardrops. One day hopefully Azerbaijan will go for something mainstream like "Leto Svet" and then success will be theirs.

Quite like this one... sounds like a modern 80's ballad... although I would've loved something more traditional for once!
