Mob results for :am:

5 Points = 2.08% (1)
4 Points = 2.08% (1)
3 Points = 6.25% (3)
2 Points = 6.25% (3)
1 Points = 39.58% (19)

Armenia didn't receive too much love from the Mob ended up with an additional 0.5 points. Let's have a look at the updated ranking:

Re: The 2013 'Expert' Panel - ICELAND

I hate this song. Normally, I would give it 0, but I'm gonna be generous and give it a 1 just because of the Icelandic language.

Normally, Icelands song is one of my favorites every year. But not this year. It´s boring. So I give only 2 points.

3 points. Nothing very special, but a pleasant little song. The singer is a handsome man and has a nice voice. I like to see handsome vocalists.;)

Congratulations Lucius. It seems that this forum quite enjoys your wailing on stage. I am astonished that you who do not want to associate with muggles... end up..... representing Iceland on a song contest.

Doesn't the ballad from Iceland just make you happy, Eau? It's like I'm back in the 80s, when I was fresh and young and in the spring of my life.

Well, if you like standard vanilla custard pudding, then I see why you like it, Liz.

I really enjoy it, especially the moment when he spreads his arms. It's like he wants to embrace his audience.

It's a piece of theatre that comes with every standard ballad Liz. And this is one of those. But one of the few things that makes this stand out is the Icelandic language. Unfortunately they might translate it into English. But what does it matter? If they decide to produce an English version it will have the same mediocre and disappointing result, I'm certain about that. So they'd better just save themselves the effort and send the origianl Icelandic version.

There's one other thing that makes him stand out and that's his hair. He looks like a rough rocker, doesn't he?

More like a teddybear type of Viking if you ask me. Totally harmless, just like the song. It doesn't leave much of an impression on me. Maybe just a sense of 'feel-good' and for some Eurovision viewers that fits the bill perfectly. We're a bit undecided if we like the song or not. It's a pleasant, totally inoffensive ballad, but also quite standard Eurovision style. Since it's right in the middle of everything, we give this entry a right in the middle score: a 3.

36 points put Iceland at the same level with Sweden, and I think that it's fair this way. No extra points.
