You forgot to mention: you like her hat xheat

Well, unsure if serious or you're joking because of my known disdain for hipster hats, but her hat is actually quite acceptable. Dangerous but acceptable. I could write an essay post on how to hat correctly without looking like a pretentious asshat. It's mostly all about the brimxqueenbitch I'm the devil himself when it comes to hats. So horrifically judgemental. New show: Hat Factor

Strong entry! Hope they stick to this kind of staging and don't ruin it like last year's "Apollo".

THE GOOD:
-The bass and the instrumentals in general make this a great instrumental track.
-The vocals do their job for the most part.

THE BAD:
-It's barely memorable.
-Does anybody know what genre this song is supposed to be? Yes, I'm being serious. (More on this in my verdict.)

THE VERDICT:
The song is alright, but my main concern is what genre it's supposed to be. I know it says "Pop" in the Wiki article for this song, but in my ears, what I heard doesn't quite mesh with that. I assumed that it was an R&B song with emphasis on the Blues part of the R&B. This is what I mean by the question I posted above. This is not my only concern for the song, however. My other concern is that as it is, I barely remember the song. Will anybody remember it come performance time, other than it having great instrumentals? 7 points

My experience listening to this song was similar than having sex and thinking about the shopping for tomorrow at the same time.

I didn't even realise when it finished.

I really wasn't too keen on this when I first heard it, but it has really grown on me - it's spunky, it's fierce, and I like the theme of the lyrics. I think this could sneak its way into the final, given the combination of countries that are taking part in Semi 1, but I suppose that is really down to the songs its up against.

7 points for now

Is that for real? Apart from Grassi, we were represented by a neverbeen, a journalist, a Destination Eurovision flop and a regional beauty queen... How random! Where's my neighbour's cleaner? I don't see her name here.

And you're totally right, every year, 3/4 out of 5 French jurors are complete nobodies. :? Makes you wonder. They don't seek French music experts, just French people
