So, I've finally listened to the song. :)

First of all, it's nice that Sweden is sending something different to the ESC after a long time, and even if I'm not as fixated on languages as some other fans it's still nice to hear an ESC entry in Swedish. (y)

Overall, I enjoy listening to the song and the stage show is funny, but there's still something missing for me. All in all it's a nice song for in between but not something I would necessarily wanna listen to in my spare time.

I give a good :7:, :se: will certainly stand out with this song, even though we already have a lot of fun entries this year. I don't see the juries showering the country with points this year, televote will probably love it more but it has a strong competition in that departmen. But I don't think the Swedes will be so upset if they don't have to host the ESC that soon again. 😅

I came back from Stockholm!
It was amazing MF trip.. xlove xheart
Only yesterday somebody stole my bag in Skeppsbro bageri in Gamla stan.. 🫠🤨 But I won't let that ruin it for me..
If KAJ's victory didn't then I shouldn't allow this to do so.. 🤭 I didnt have anything that valuable in the bag. Wallet, passport, sunglasses were with me..
Only the autograms from Scarlet and Sissal were in the beg. 😭😭😭
The panel I made in the Mall before the show, for Scarlet was in the bigger bag.. 🙏

If Sweden somehow managed to win again this year perhaps Måns could sing Cara Mia in either the semifinals or the Grand Final next year. in one of the interval acts. Singing some Melodifestivalen hits that never reached Eurovision would be cool and fun.

This one:

🤭🤭 lol

Well, maybe I'm biased, but for me it was Scarlet! It is somehow the most for the concert hall, for Arena, and of course it depends how ppl react, for example ypu know that huge percentage of the audience is kids, so Dolly Style worked very well in Arena..
Annika was my vocal winner, she sings so good, I enjoyed listening to her a lot in Arena..
Greczula changed his black suite from the semi, to the white one for the final and it worked good... And the whole performance with piano in the air..
Im glad in the end our jury awarded him 10, Mans 12, Scarlet 8 💞💞💞 and KAJ below them, 7..
After party in Nalen is cool! 😌🥵 Im so glad NEO from 2010 "Human Frontier" was one of the guests, he was my 2010 winner..
They played "Bara Bada Bastu" 3 times while I was there and I stayed till 4 am, and Meira Omar "Hush hush" 4 times! It was such a hit there..We danced to it a lot.. it is like Arash's hit from 00s..

If you sent in Swedish language this time the one I dislike, I ask for MEDINA in Swedish language next year, please... 😌

Btw I visired these viewing points you and Anna suggested me here, weather was really nice all 4 days..

Stockholm used to have even more old buildings but much was destroyed in different wawes especially during the 1950s to 1970s. By our own idiot politicians and realestate firms. Im glad to heare you visited those viewingpoints. What did a ticket cost to Melodifestivalen?

So, looking at Spotify:

BBB has gotten 807.823 streams on Spitify on the 9th of March alone. That is apparently the 2nd highest daily streaming number in Sweden ever.

Taking international streams into account, they got 1.390.346 streams overall. The second most streamed Eurovision song is Italy with 423.080. That's, uhm... a difference.

Honestly, that's some pretty insane numbers lol

Hm, considering the concerns we've heard about the general song quality this year from Heads of Delegations, I think jurors might be afraid of giving strong support to this or any other novelty act. After the big reputational damage ESC already has taken in creative industries following Israel's continued participation and the headlines from last year Malmö, I think they might worry about a song like this winning being the final nail in the coffin for the contest's reputation. Especially when the performing artists market themselves as "the comedy group KAJ" (their website name is literally humorgruppenkaj.com lol).

However, going into the contest with the favourite status is an advantage of course. As is the narrative: even casuals know what kind of song Sweden typically send, this will be introduced as "the first Swedish song in 28 years" in the postcards.

If a girl imitating a chicken can win then KAJ can win to.

And before anyone says “you’re bitter because you wanted Mäns to win”
I didn’t. I wanted Greczula

I am extremely confused for the such drastically insane praise this song is receiving.

Yes - it's certainly exciting that Sweden is sending something different to the standard manufactured pop which we usually get.

How exactly does that merit 12 points?
How exactly does that merit first place with the bookmakers?
How exactly does that merit, god forbid, a Eurovision victory?

Yes - it's charming and authentic, but these are two words which could also be used to describe Slovenia's last-place semi final performance with Disko in 2022.

People get annoyed when Sweden wins with sleek and modern tracks, but are supportive of DoReDoS the sequel winning the contest?

I feel the entire hype for this entry was manufactured as an anti-Mans or anti-Sweden movement.
I feel like the entire Eurovision bubble has collectively lost their minds and I'm just watching from the outside.

This entry feels sort of like a combination of Estonia 2024 and Finland 2024. A lot of the people in the bubble hated those two entries and yet love this one. It does confuse me a little bit. But whatever, it is what it is.
(It must feel weird for Kaj tough, they were rooting for Erika so much and now they're topping the odds for Sweden)

Strange to read that people rooting for Sweden this year are part of an anti-Sweden movement, I don't understand what you mean?

Sweden isn't my favourite this year but it's fun and catchy, so I enjoy it the same way I did enjoy Trenetul, victory is not the most important.

Oh, of course, all those Swedes streaming this song since the weekend, making it the second biggest daily Spotify hit ever in Sweden, are doing this out of hate for their own country.
And of course the bookies are only betting on it to stick it to Måns. Obviously.

It's of course fine to just not like something others love. But comments like this are just stupid, to be blunt. I do not see the point in subscribing such a negative Motivation to people, where the actual cause is just simple enjoyment.
