Amanecer only needs a moment of extasis in the instrumental part, Edurne singing higher notes and crashing the monotony of her voice. Then, if the performance on the stage is great, it will be stunning. Let's wait her singing the song live!!

Brequette' song from the national final last year is still stronger than Amanecer.

I may be the only one that doesn't like it. I mean, it's a pretty song, but not something "wow". I expect it to build up but I remain disappointed.
You're not alone. I completely agree with you. This is just an ok song.

And this is NOT a ballad. :?

What would you describe it as?

Anyway this is already screaming flop of the night to me and will likely finish outside the top 15, like the "Molly Smitten-Downes" of this year I'm afraid....the one that gets hyped to the heavens before the contest and then crashes and burns.

A heartbreaking Mid-tempo. xqueenbitch

Kind of expected way more from this. It's a step away from Edurne's 'sound' and not particularly in a good way either. It doesn't really progress any further than when it starts throughout the 3 minutes either.

All the hype for this :?

Its so monotonous and goes nowhere, no sense of urgency considering the theme xdoh It sounds like the first version that competed at a national final that later went on to be revamped.

¡Qué canción tan bonita! ¡Mucha suerte, España! Spain never lets me down when it comes to Eurovision. It's one of my favourite entries so far (right behind Aminata of course). 12pts.

Lyrics are irrelevant if you don't speak or understand Spanish. Which is almost all of Europe.

Well, Spanish is taught in schools all over Europe and with some basic knowledge it is easy to understand the lyrics ;)

I was expecting an up-tempo song and I was like "wtf?". BUT, I love it! xlove 12 points! xcheer

Btw, the verses remind me of another song. I've been trying to figure out which song it is for SO long! Help me! The melody of the verses!

Honestly, I'm a bit underwhelmed. I was expecting an ethnic song with trumpets and energy... Also, do you guys remember that 5 second snippet they teased us with? I can't find it anywhere in the song.
