Everyone's saying it and that's probably because it's true. This is hard to call. I can see almost everybody in, and I can see everybody out. There's not one entry I can be 100% sure about, as opposed to semi 1 where I felt there were 6 certs.

This semi just got even tougher with the jury show. This is the toughest semi to predict of all time.

This is pretty much my worst case scenario, but I believe this is what will happen.

Your prediction is very similar to mine, except for Macedonia. I'm very confused, but Macedonia is one of the few I feel quite certain about not making it. I've got Lithuania as a kind of wild guess instead. Just out of curiosity, if you had to replace macedonia by someone else, who would you pick?

I think I want to do an update to my semi 2 prediction. Like everyone else i'm really struggling with this. I can see pretty much anyone advancing except Slovenia. After seeing clearer rehearsal videos and reading press reaction, I believe in Macedonia again. For a long while i've declared them the dark horse of the year but then I lost hope, now it's back again. They've taken Israel's place in my prediction. I'm not sure there is room for two deep voiced, powerful women in the final.. Every year we also have a shock failure which hasn't happened yet in this one. Israel has all the markings of creating a huge fan upset tonight.

My prediction is risky with the inclusions of Macedonia, Georgia and Lithuania but the risk paid off last time. I'm also very uncertain about Poland as I said from the beginning that I expected a Montenegro 2013 result for them. Hopefully they won't be as wrecked by the jury.

I think the new system of voting favor songs build to fit Eurovision formula, songs you don’t like much but neither hate, decent-mediocre and tolerable songs and acts that express and celebrate eccentricity , those who spark controversy or those musical styles which are not typical of Eurovision have smaller chance to be on top. For example, Greece’ s entry you either love it or not, there is no in between , so I would not be surprised if Greek guys don’t reach the final. If they sing like in the rehearsal they will not make it, but even if they sing well, I'm not sure they will make it, cause it doesn't sound good to me their rehearsal and the juries saw that so their vote can annihilate the televote.

Good chance to pass: Norway, Malta, Romania, Austria (inédite appearance but the song is safe, not risky at all)

This is my updated prediction for semi 2. In semi 1 I was convinced Russia wouldn't pull it off, with that song and in this political climate. I should've stuck with convention: Russia ALWAYS qualifies, no matter what they send. This is why I'm changing my prediction for : apparently they always qualify. Changing it for Macedonia that has the same staging: a female singer with a male dancer. The Macedonian song is more oldish 90s style though.
