BorisBubbles Hvala for the great analysis! The tribute to our sorceress Tinkara and the shade directed at Eesti Laul -2.0 were on point too :D

The only point I personally refuse to be categorical about is their winning chances. I like to believe they can do it, even if it takes 84 years in the wilderness like Portugal. :) Now call me a fool - even though my long-time fondness for them may cloud judgement - they are so unpredictable musically-speaking, yet so consistent quality-wise that it could pay off big time one day.

With that being said, seeing them break into the top 10 would already be a highlight for me. xheat Maybe in Rotterdam?

I think they can win eventually, but I don't think the world is ready for them yet. In say... 6 years or so? Then yes, absolutely.

Younite and Astrid are serving it, but I can also welcome PV or Alfirev

EDIT: Pia Nina too!

Oh my God, I need "Sing To Me" like right now! xheat

My thoughts on the snippets:

1) Stella: pretty similar to the version we heard before. To me, it sounds like a track from The Sims when you're in Build mode. :ROFLMAO:
2) Younite: much better than what I expected, these arrangements give a more special vibe to the melody. It sounds quite nice this way. I'm vibing.
3) Alfirev: did they add some guitar? I like this Santana-ish realness they added. I like that song.
4) Klarity: meh, it was forgettable before and I don't think I'll like it out of nowhere now. Hopefully she'll give a great performance to do it justice though.
5) Marmoris: I was rooting for this so much back in November, but now I'm not so sure. I don't think they changed much the previous version, but I'm on the fence.
6) Saska: Typical pop-rock ballad. Perfect for the local market, but it's a no for Eurovision. I still don't feel anything while listening to this.
7) Pia Nina: Yay! They just enhanced what we could hear in the demo version. It's very chill and I look forward to the full song, I think it's going to be a song I'll put on my Ipod.
8) Lana Hrvatin: I was so curious about that one, and I don't know what to think. On one hand, it tries to be something different, I kinda like it, but I'm not entirely convinced about these arrangements. Something feels off imo, it still sounds like a demo, maybe the live performance will make me change my mind since I liked the piano version a lot.
9) Parvani Violet: Pretty similar to the live snippet we heard. I personally think this is nothing but a succession of random noises, and rather unpleasant to listen to at that. Hvala, ne!
10) Astrid in Avantgarden: one word: LAYERS gurl! I liked the melody from day one, but this final version sounds richer. They confirm their status as a favourite in my book. This is already in the EMA 2020 final, and most likely in the superfinal as well. That song is a mood.

Astrid remains my favourite by far. Alfirev and Pia built on the solid base they already had. Kudos to Younite for making something out of the pared-down melody they presented last year.

Question marks about Marmoris and Lana, that I'm not sure about anymore. The rest is pretty but unremarkable.

Can't wait for the live show now

I'm waiting for the full versions because right now none grasped my attention... maybe a little Saska because I'm a sucker for pop-rock ballads
As for Astrid, I'm waiting for something to happen that will lift the song, her snipper is a bit underwhelming.

Not wanting to dance anymore, but I must dance
After the new snippets:

1. Sing To Me by Astrid in Avantgarden; Unchanged, still my magical mystical forest goddess!
2. Tukaj in zdaj by Pia Nina; Pretty much the same as her initial snippet
3. Črno bela lika by Alfirev; I'm hoping they expand on the guitar in the full version
4. Še kar lovim tvoj nasmeh by Šaska; It's still nice and peppy
5. Diham by Klarity; I had hoped for something more lush to accompany her voice
6. Ne vem, če sem v redu by Stella; It sounds a bit better, but it's still middle of the road for me
7. Cupid by Parvani Violet; The jazziness is starting to grow on me
8. Dream by Lana Hrvatin; Maybe the full song might expand on what she's going for?
9. The Cure by Younite; I'm still not sold by this, it just gets lost
10. Moj pristan by Marmoris; Didn't really get into it then, still not into it now

Younite is clear favourite to go to EMA. Both jury and tvt pleaser. Hopefully second one could be Astrid. I really really love her, she is the best song for me in current esc season, but remember guys, she lost to Martina.

I secretly hope she could go to Rotterdam. There are no big names on EMA, remember what Mahmood did last year, among big names

Astrid's is the only one that sounds like it could win EMA outright, I might be so bold as to say it'll be her and Gaja in the superfinal in February.
