Read the other day in some blog that this Maryetta was more Lena than Lena herself ever was and I loved the description.

I know the momentum is over but that doesn't really mean anything. Momentums are only people following other people in some direction without knowing why. Truth is, I haven't yet abandoned the hope of a Slovenian win altogether. Somewhere in the back of my mind some optimistic funny bunny is telling me people will get sick with the big, pretentious, wailing chansons and enjoy a simple, honest but sparkly and modern tune.

I wasn't Lena's fan then, but surely, it's been five years of going somewhat backwards...why couldn't Lena happen again?

I was recording a dialogue for my German class today between two individuals named Tom and Daniela, and when Daniela started talking about San Francisco, I'll be damned if I didn't want to burst into "and San Francisco has great tourist attraction Golden Gate Park and great tourist attraction Alcatraz and great tourist attraction Japanese Tea Garden." I settled for a Danijela-esque affectation for which I'm sure I'll be worshipped by my German professor, who has to listen to a minute and a half of me doing a bad impression of the Eurovision Sonk Contest's bikest fen.

They have already beaten other contestants at singing their own songs. Now they beat Polina at making kids' video.

The three backvocalists are Karin Zemljič, Nika Zorjan in Manca Špik (so similar as last year, without Lea Sirk who is giving birth soon) but they'll be out of view, Raay joked it's a payback for last year when it was him who had to be hidden.

Hidden backing vocalists are the trend now. There's no imagining a wining song bearing backing vocalists swinging to and fro, right and left anymore even though it used to be eurovision's trademark.
