I'm usually a big fan of PZE, but this year's line up is just not it. The only one I enjoyed listening to was Alt/Ctrl's song. The rest just didn't connect with me.

-Harem Girls are the biggest mystery for me.. i wonder how they will sound like... the studio version sounds suspiciously too feminine
That one in the middle is girl actually! She is there to be a main singer, others are drags who are not singers generally...

-Anything that sounds like it could be made by Dubioza Kolektiv gets a 10/10 for me. So "Trendseter" takes the crown here for mexclapxcheer
-overall awesome NF, but it could do with a bit less filler songs
-Please, start sending songs i like again. PzE format has not been nice to me at all
-I feel like i should like Milan Nikolić more, but i guess, no Marko, no party. xshrug
-Harem Girls are the biggest mystery for me.. i wonder how they will sound like... the studio version sounds suspiciously too feminine
-This ranking of my endorsements will be prone to changes, i can feel it. But anyway, here it is:

1-Iskaz "Trendseter"
2-Mimi Mercedez "Turbo žurka"
3-Tam "Durum durum"
4-Dušan Kurtić "Boginja"
5-Bojana & David "Šesto čulo"
6-Harem Girls "Aladin"

Due to the current situation, the students leading the ongoing protests have decided to start a country-wide boycott of RTS, as they are, among other things, literally fighting against media censorship and the spread of misinformation propagated by pro-regime outlets, of which RTS is one. For this reason, I will not be watching any part of the PZE this year, and, if I may overstep and make a fool of myself, I urge you all to do the same.

With all due respect I am not sure if not watching it or calling for a massive boycott is the right approach. Olivera Kovačević (she is the main editor for PZE) and some others from RTS do support students. I support them, and as Mrm said half of the PZE 2025 participants also support them. If not all. Some of them are scared of showing public support which I can understand.

Situation in the country is not easy right now and all we can do is support one another. That's the main message of the students anyway - unity.

While I understand the sentiment behind your messages, I need to address a few points. It’s not important whether individual participants or members of RTS support the protests because they are still part of the propaganda machine. RTS, as an institution, plays a significant role in perpetuating the current system, and a boycott of the entire network is a necessary stand against that. As for the claim that some individuals are scared to speak up, being afraid to act is exactly what has allowed the situation to persist and worsen in the first place.

A light entertainment show like PZE cannot be used as an excuse to break the boycott, especially when RTS is one of the key pillars supporting the dictatorship. A boycott is about sending a clear message, and it must remain consistent.

Additionally, the boycott is an official request from the students of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts (FDU) to the general public, and you can consider me as a messenger of that request.

I do not want this message to be seen as inflammatory in the thread, and I am sharing it only to clarify my stance. As the moderator, my position on this is personal and it will stay as such. This is where the conversation ends, and I will not engage further in this thread to avoid going off-topic and encouraging unnecessary arguments. Thank you.

Then you ask ppl to avoid Serbia in ESC 2025, because whoever wins, will have to go to Basel with RTS as a broadcaster behind him/her/they!

I understand your stance and if that is what you think is the best thing to do, that's okay.

One of the hosts (Slaven Došlo) withdrew his host role at PzE this year due to the ongoing protests of students and political crisis in Serbia (he supports students against the regime).

We will be lucky if PzE actually goes smoothly this year. I still think there is a slight chance Serbia withdraws at the late stage because the atmosphere in the country is highly concerning at the moment.
