Messy is ok...Messy is Balkanika... My favorite by Sanja Ilic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5b5LziOtcw4The Serbian song on the other hand... It may be more genuine, but the ethno and pop elements aren't really integrated properly, so it appears rather messy..

That huge drop in the odds is a clear reflection of the messy song Serbia is sending this year. I gave 6 points yesterday, but dropped it today to a 3 after few listens and a bit of a headache at the end. Final for Serbia? Don’t take it for granted.
It is an objective and an imperative. Depends, some songs can and should be dated .One such win last year.
It will not be revamp, because it is not needed.
A wide audience has already felt the song in the best way.
It will all be focused on choreographic themes on the main stage and the design of scenes - lights, colorings, requisites, etc.
Most of the songs are dated at the end. It does not matter.
It is important to transfer energy to viewers and jury. It's just that's important.
Transfer the energy to viewers? I consider myself a viewer and I´m not feeling any energy right now the way this version is.
Audience already feeling the song? Musical taste is subjective, but many people are feeling this because of the Balkan sound. Not particularly because pop beats sound fresh. Look at the comments. You will still find comments, both on YT videos and ESC sites claiming that this sounds dated. Why should only positive comments be treated as only relevant ones? If there is an opportunity to attract more people, take that opportunity! You are really not sacrificing anything by boosting the quality of instrumental.
The song from last year was dated? Uhm, no. The song from last year is retro. Genres of songs like "Amar pelos dois" still have their own market where they are showcased. You can consider them as "niche market".
