Hello peeps! :)

I have just come back from Sava Centar! It’s snowing heavily outside..

I’m satisfied with the show, watching it live was really GREAT…almost all were good-great vocally…even beginners like Igor Lazarevic..and that is the most important..

I voted for Biber (I know the lead singer :D) and they were really catchy and we were happy and dancing to it! :)
Then I voted for Lana & Aldo, such a great performance and styling, yes old fashioned song, maybe even Soviet era, but so what, it was GREAT to me.. :p Then I voted for Saska Jankovic due to being MARVELOUS and the same way I voted for Betu & Rambo! Beti was BRILLIANT! She brought me to tears..

My aunt next to me, voted for LORD (it was fantastic performance), Saska Janks, Biber and Beti & Rambo! :))

Saska Jankovic was probably the best of the evening…she gave me goosebumps while performing, and the outfit was fantastic…but I knew she will come second due to how Big Balkanika and Sanja Ilic are…

Maja Nikolic was funny as hell :DD…she gave good vocal performance though….really strong voice….some ppl were booing when she received 0 from jury! Behind me were some Maja supporters, very loud, two of them were French (one guy and one girl) speaking in french all the time and they were also cheering for Maja, (I was shocked :O) and in front of me were actually 6 other members of Balkanika who were also quite loud for obvious reasons…There are 12 members of Balkanika, but only these 6 will go to ESC.. was in the 16th row..

I liked that Sava Centar was full..the stage was very nice…positive impressions overall…

I can’t believe Ivana Peters gave 12 to Ivan Kurtic, I almost collapsed when that happened.. :/ he wasn’t bad, but too local sounding, he would end as a 0 pointer in ESC me thinks.. :/

About the entry, I really liked it, vocals are fantastic..Danica Krstic (brunette) is marvelous...I also like how it mixes ethno (real ethno singing) electro and ESC schlagerish and pompous performanes..some ppl dislike female outfits here, but I like them actually :p :D

12 in the poll...

The first 12 from me for our entry since Zeljko Joksimovic in 2012.. :)

Typical Serbian ballad. Not interesting for me at all. But this is more original than :me: boy and I kinda like those parts where man singing. 3 points

EDIT: If :ba: 2016 didn't qualify with actually enjoyable song, I don't understand how this one qualifies. Maybe singers' charisma will help, they have it.

Oh dear, Serbia. so close to sending a fantastic song by Saska. But, this...instead. It's much better live than the studio version with all the dodgy vocal effects. The first minute is interesting, then it turns into a wall of noise with a staggering lack of impact.

It may grow on me, but for the moment,

Sounds like Greece part 2 . I can't work out yet which is worse, as they are both dreadful. 1 pt

I gotta say, Balkanika really nailed it. I changed my voting schedule after the live performance and I sent 5 SMS messages for them and then 3 for Biber and 1 for Danijel, Svilar and Rambo & Beti.

More than a deserved victory.....the song sounds much more convincing live than in the studio version.

I think that for the first time since Zeljko I am actually really proud of our song and how it looks/sounds on stage. I also like that we are sending our own tradition and culture once again and we are not acting that we are something we are not.

Really great show overall, I enjoyed it from the beginning 'till the end.

I am a little sad that Biber wasn't in top 3 in the end but they were really great and I will keep listening to their song.

Svilar was also amazing. Danijel disappointed me a bit as I liked his song the most in the studio version but it was a solid performance nonetheless. Rambo & Beti were also great and I am glad they got some points from both the juries and the audience :D

Oh yes, and I am glad that Maja Nikolic ended up with a fiasco. She got what she deserved. I like her song but she is such a horrible person, she would be a dreadful representative.

Anyway, I am glad that we have a song that can unite us finally xcheer

I thoroughly enjoyed it, but I do not think it is very good.

I'm a sucker for exotic wailing and here we get plenty of it - and pretty well done and in tune at that. Plus, there are all those sounds from Balkanic instruments (elderly gentleman with flute is ace!) one loves and has long been missing in recent years of eurovision. Beautiful. The song then progresses to be a lot of things, none of them is actually disagreeable. There's a bearded man singing something also Balkanic sounding and there are drums to make it sound more current, which is ok with me. It is a big mix but it didn't sound chaotic to me. Still, I feel it is a product made solely for the ESC as i can't stop thinking that without it it would never have seen the light of day. A bit like those trifle litle souvenirs one can find in almost every country and are meant for naive and not very affluent tourists.
Not exactly a real song, I mean, and that is not so great at this point of the contest.

I imagine it will do well with the public but it might get slayed by juries, but of course one can't really know.

There sure are some very nice elements in the song, but it seems rather messy to me :( A pity really... Especially considering how many other good songs there actually were in this year's Beovizija

We can be calm. The road to the finals is safe.
And with a good performance , we have top 10 material.
I love having the perfect intuition, always.
From the start I cheer and support the Balkanika.
And I'm particularly pleased to be in that larger group of my nation, who thinks the same way and what I contributed to my vote !

DAN, SRB and GRE have authentic pop ethno songs and that will make them very different from most of the rest of the songs.
With a good performance they can have a high score.

I certainly don't see the Danish entry as very authentic  It really tries to pull off that Viking theme, but it doesn't seem authentic to me at all.. I still enjoy it though :D
You're right about Serbia and Greece ;) The Greek one just seems more... professional-ish than the Serbian song..? There is just too much going on at the same time :s

Not really a fan of this song, but it was the only right choice in the lineup for me. Probably the only act that felt like a complete package.

I like the beginning a lot, but I´m not really a fan when the pop beats show up. Those beats sound very dated to me and don´t go well together with the beginning.

That is why I think that this entry really needs a revamp.

The Greek song is quite plastic and generated, most part. And that's not good for the song.
There is nothing to do with professionalism, nothing at all. It does not go into the same sentence.
Song also has one black tone in her all the time and melodic is not sufficiently pronounced, also that's not good for the song.
There is a terribly bad ending. Actually, he does not have it.
The only good thing is in Greek, and what has an instrumental part which improves the song slightly.

The Serbian song was made more authentically and archaic vocal themes- combined with modern sound. Greek song does not exist, It is completely melodic flat, almost to the end. In the Serbian song, there is one special and lavish East - New - Byzantine style and sound, which is very appealing to most people, just as the most intriguing part of Jamala's song was archaic singing the ethno motive in the song. Such songs and such vocal ornaments always finds the way to a wide audience . Also, serbian song is more natural, fresh and vibrant sound.

Danish song is authentic, of course. With that you must know- we put all Skandinavians in the same basket. You are all the same to us.
Danes have the right to viking themes, they are part of this culture.

It is an objective and an imperative. Depends, some songs can and should be dated .One such win last year.
It will not be revamp, because it is not needed.
A wide audience has already felt the song in the best way.
It will all be focused on choreographic themes on the main stage and the design of scenes - lights, colorings, requisites, etc.

Most of the songs are dated at the end. It does not matter.
It is important to transfer energy to viewers and jury. It's just that's important.

Alright, the Greek song may be slightly plastic, but it still works.. I believe the production to be very professionel..
The Serbian song on the other hand... It may be more genuine, but the ethno and pop elements aren't really integrated properly, so it appears rather messy.. As I said, many elements work rather well (archaic singing, ethno motive, the Byzantine style; all very good!), but they aren't mixed very succesfully.. It's just a pity, cause it really has a great potential :s

Denmark certainly should be represented by something Viking themed, but this just doesn't seem that genuine; mostly like an ordinary Swedish pop song trying to sound Viking-ish :s A good pop tune, but it's just not that Viking after all
