I don't think you are being fair. Some threads do not have memes/giphs, but they still did not get comments for 4 days. And honestly, since I use memes quite often, I must say in my defense that it is much more time-economic and less exhausting to say certain things packed in joke (read: conveyed in the form of a meme) instead of spending 1 hour on writing a politically correct post here just not to stir the feelings of haters/lovers and give both of them a reason to start another meaningless political dispute. So, please, forgive me, yet I am not actually sorry.

Just go back few pages and count all these memes not related at ALL with the topic and you will clearly understand what I am trying to say. The topic is now a private party between you and mr RoSSerb and here and there 2-3 persons. Every time people enter the topic the memes are just jumping out of box (it's just a different form of spamming), of course the topic will be dead for days when there is no news about the artist, the possible staging - all these things related to the Russian entry this year.

Well, almost everything is you write or do on this forum is spam and I will not discuss about spamming with a person who actually spams (btw, I was talking with another person here, not with you). You have some candidates to join you, as we can see. Enjoy your gifs and memes.

Since you simply do not want to understand my message between the lines, I will explain to you why I reply with memes to certain commentators (if you go and check, you will see that very much one and the same people got memes). The answer is: because I am fracking fed up with Russophobia, bashing Russian entries (not only this year, but every year), and giving condescending, hurtful, derogatory comments that ALSO DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE ENTRY. I am on this forum for 3 years!!! Do you know how many Russian commentators participate in the debate about their entries? ZERO! And there are many Eurovision fans in Russia (go and check YT to see only few of them making reaction videos), however, in three years since I have joined this forum, I wasn't able to talk with one Russian ESC fan. If you go more than three pages back in this thread, you will find that there was ONE RUSSIAN, ONLY ONE, who came here and tried to join the debate. After three days, he posted one short message in Russian, in which he replied to one specific commentator, whom he called RUSSOPHOBE. Two days afterwards he was gone. There are a few more Russians here, but interestingly almost all of them put as their location any other country but Russia (usually they put South American states or something like this).

So, to sum it up for you: next time, when you start preaching me about my behavior here, maybe you should first go and ask others how they feel about their own behavior which obviously deters Russian fans from participating in debates in this forum. So, I use memes not in order to spam this thread, nor to drive away other commentators who are capable of normal communication, but surely I bombard with memes everyone who spreads poision and vicious comments here. And I am not having private party with Serbian commentators mrm, Rosserb, and Scooby on this thread, I am talking to them and learning from them about Russian entries and Russian music, cuz they are more or less the only ones here who understand Russian and are capable of transmitting news about Russian entries and Russian music without denigrating, humiliating Russians.

Finally, I think it is hypocracy that many commentators who trash Russia/Russians here are acting and behaving exactly the way which they ascribe to Russians. And as RoSSerb said, forum is not only meant for sharing gossips about this year's entry, but also to learn about anything related to participants. For me, ESC has been always a huge window into the culture, LANGUAGE, and MUSIC of a specific nation/state that participates in ESC. Unfortunately, because of all those "nice" commentators, which I dare to bombard with memes, this is impossible for me. You know, I would love to talk to a real Russian here, who would tell me things about Russia, Russian language, Russian music, their entry etc., but simply they give up on this forum quite quickly when they understand how much hatred they get only because they are Russians. Once this changes, then I will change my behavior here. And now, feel free to report me for spamming.

I agree with everything you said about the way many people on this forum treat Russia and topics related to Russians in general, but anyway I just want to say again that this comment you wrote is worth MORE than every single ridiculous meme you put here.

And Rosserb is doing his best to enhance hate toward Russians thanks to his approach to this forum and his personal dramas, but ok, I don't care and don't have any wish to discuss as long as people treat forum topics the way it's being done with this one.

I don't care if people say they dislike Yulia's song because it is flat, dull, whatever, as long as their critique is about song. But we all know that a good deal of comments go beyond good taste. As I said earlier, the very fact that not a single Russian ESC fan stays with us for long here is the best proof that something is wrong with our behavior here. I believe that we all have something to think about.

This is outrageous, they have no confirmation at all that Russia would ban the irish music video or performance in 2018. It is just some small random gay newssite that is out of the blue thinking "oh btw, we should just mention it so that gay people don't forget how evil Russia is" like everyone else is doing in the western part of the World. Russia will never be this stupid and boycott such a thing. I am sure some random guy in Russia will be start shouting soon about doing it, most likely close prior or after the contest, but I am sure that they will show everything. I am just sick of this, let the cute Irish video be and let Russian TV and Julia focus on putting their act together.
