I'm not surprised she avoided the question as good as possible. That was to be expected. I don't know about her private opinion but openly supporting LGBT rights would certainly mean big problems for her at home.

I'm surprised the audience seems to be hyping her so much, though. Was that just the Russian fan corner or was the cheering all over the place?

I think the question here was not clever. In the beginning, it was not so easy to understand, what he wanted to say, which caused perhaps some of the confusion of Paulina, and then I find it quite impolite to sort of say to singer what subjects he/she should use in their songs. It would have been better to address the topic directly and ask her what she thought about LGBT rights. But saying: Why didn't you do this or that is kind of patronizing. I don't think though the fan wanted to be impolite or aggressive. It was perhaps due to his english capacities, that it came across that way.

I agree that the question was phrased badly. I think that it's good to address the issue but it should have been handled differently.

About the question from the "journalist" - You can always rely on the Turks to ruin a good party.

No wonder everybody hates them in the Balkans.
He is not a journalist, just a fan. I know him from Twitter, he sometimes may be dumb but what he did was on point, i love Polina but she needs to understand that she is representing a very troubled country. The question was unappopriately asked, yes, but people need to ask her about what she feels about what is happening in her country, and as i see she answers gracefully, telling how all the humans are one etc. I said about the booed twins before and i'm saying it again, if you are taking a risk, stay with it. They may boo you, they may stress you out but they shouldn't break you.

And about that racist comment, calm down. All the Turks from the Balkans are gone now, like half of my family.

I’ve seen some people say what Polina said was a cop out but I don’t think it was at all, she essentially answered the question by saying that her song is for ALL no matter who you love. If that isn’t a tactful statement supporting the equality of LGBT I don’t really know what to say in response to that parlance. Then she’s also supported Conchita in Russian numerous times. It’s not fair to put the issues on the government on an individual, but at the same time, she’s handled the situation thus far very gracefully and I’m sure has won over a few people from it.

The Russian performance yesterday was great, and the song is still playing on my mind. Probably the 2nd best yesterday behind Estonia.
And Polina seems like a lovely person! xheart

I would be happy if this won, although the song isn't my favourite she seems like a lovely woman and would really deserve it.

I'm not a huge fan of the song, but come on... amazing performance, Polina rocks! The best of the night... she gave me goosebumps. :)

It's a good song. Best from the first semi with Estonia and Belgium.

But it's also played by the book, like "Undo" last year. There's nothing bad about it but it's not exactly blowing me away either.

What to say here? Everything was perfect, and Polina looked better than ever. :D

Top 3 for sure and potential winner, I think.

I have nothing against Polina or A Million Voices (I honestly quite like it), but I just can't see Russia hosting ESC 2016.

I just can't, it messes up my brain and I get confused. Maybe I should question my own brain capacity or something, but to me it's like... 1+1=0.

The song is still incredibly dull for me, probably even more so now that I've heard it more than once. :? She looked great on stage of course and everything about the staging was top notch, BUT with such a lukewarm, mediocre tune it would be such bland winner. Like Azerbaijan 2011. IOTAP
