It's a bit like 2007's Ukraine's "Russia goodbye" -theory..
Yeah exactly
It's a bit like 2007's Ukraine's "Russia goodbye" -theory..
Well, it doesn't make sense to sing about being closer to crimea and crossing the border in May when they are already crossed the border and are in Crimea in March. Even if the lyrics were meant his way they come too late. :shock:German site aufrechtgehn.de has an interesting theory about the lyrics:
"Living on the edge, closer to the Crime(a), cross the line (the border) a step at a time": Add one letter and it has a completely different effect
"Maybe there's a place, maybe there's a time, maybe there's a day you'll be mine": Obviously directed towards the Crimean people.
"No one's gonna bring me down": Russian invincibility
"Our love will last a thousand miles": That's roughly the distance between Moscow and Simferopol
It all makes sense now #sign
...man, that's the best conspiracy theory I've heard of in a while.

Indeed, if they had planned this entire affair in advance. But in the (ridiculous) case they really tried to use ESC lyrics to promote their agenda I'm not surprised they messed it up. I have worked with Russians before. They have some unique and amazing natural skills, but when it comes to psychology & propaganda they really suck.I'm not really sure, but wasn't the song meant to be presented somewhere around New Year's Day? Then it'd make sense.
Will there be a Russian version of the song as well?
Are they still in the studio......do you know if a final version is still being worked on?
I mean majority of Russians don't even know what they sing
Where are you from in Russia? Which city?
34 bad people who vote looking at politics not on song
Oh man common it so obviousHow do you figure that, they could just not like the song?
