Juries also have to save her if she won't advance with the televote, while Norway won't get a lot of support from either of them I think, maybe like 8th with televote max. but with the jury max. 13th

I think Norway will get enough support from both. It is also one of only 4 male acts in that semi which helps them and the only male acts in that half of the semifinal iirc. You are delusional if you think that Norway will NQ especially if one adds to that the fact that TIX scenic image is hard to forget. I find it tasteless just like his song but what can we do.

I may be delusional but I just can't see it qualifying in the first semi, where we have at like 14 songs more worth of qualifying.

It is not being more worth of qualifying in some vacuum, one has to face the reality of this being just one of a myriad of female acts out there. I give Roxen 50% of chance, and TIX 90% of qualifying based on the circumstances. He just stands out way more.

I am not a fan of 'Amnesia' btw. ... I don't care about it but I would still rather see that over 'Fallen Angel' in the final. Obviously it is possible for both to Q but I have a gut feeling that only Norway will do so.

Romania has huge staging potential.Im not 100% convinced of Roxen live,but if she can hold up and they stage well this has a good chance of doing very well IMO

I know what you're trying to say and it has some role in it, but still, people will vote on the song, not on the gender, it is true that some may subconsciously vote for a male because there will be plenty of females.. still, that should not and will not be a deciding factor.

Romania is more likely to be overlooked because many people can think 'oh, well yet another lass singing some song' - not the case with Norway where I can see a lot of TV-appeal at very least, there are certainly people who are mostly into male singers. There is a lot of 'easy to get' votes for this kind of cheesy stuff unfortunately.


It does not help either that 'Amnesia' is not particularly memorable after you listen to it once or twice (I did not remember anything out of it one minute after listening to it for the first time). I guess our brains operate differently, it's fine. Now I remember the song btw. but not fondly. It feels overproduced and kinda bland despite indie vibe.

Roxen is doing very well in terms of YouTube tops and polls in the Odds website. If she delivers and kinda reduces the autotune she can surprise us a lot. It's crucial for her to bring the highest amount possible of the music video to the stage.

One wrong move and it's either 3edgy5me or completely static and dead. Will Roxen move a lot? If she does, will she sound good? Does she have enough stage presence to stand still and perform while the dancers do their thing?

Me too, when I listened to it for the first time ... I was like ... this is it?! And I did not remember anything from the melody 5 minutes after. The instrumental is kinsa ugly too.

I even enjoy Denmark more (but I have to be in the mood).

I love this song, it's definitely one of my favourites this year. However, it took quite a few listens for "Amnesia" to reach that status.
After the first listen, it really is a bit of an underwhelming song, it's by no means bad but it just isn't memorable enough, not enough happens in the progression of the song. It's a grower, not a shower. However, they can mend that at Eurovision with proper staging. An adaptation of the video would be enough I think
