Some people have joked that Amnesia is thematically a continuation of Alcohol You.

Have you noticed a common element in the videos for Alcohol You, Tout l'Univers and Growing Up is Getting Old?

Now that all songs have been released (except Belarus, but I doubt I will like the artist's song to make a huge change).
I am re-evaluating all songs as per studio form and re-looking into my grading system and how I have ranked the songs according to my personal preference.

The song did grow on me with more listens. It's in my personal top 20 for this year's competition.
So I am upgrading the rating to a .

I find this a great entry from Romania and it will surely be in my top 10 of the year. It is unfortunate that for the fans it has to unofficially compete with the 5 songs from last year's selection. If this was Roxen's first introduction to the Eurovision community the response would surely have been much better. And it has the benefit of being very different from Victoria's song, which was the main problem "Alcohol you" would have faced.
Still this is a very strong dark horse and if the staging works they can compete for a top 7-top 8 place in the final.

The song kinda does not do it for me though, to be frank there is even something that I actively dislike in this studio record, it is the way her vocal sounds in it, metallic and overoroduced. I liked both Romania & Bulgaria more like last year. They were my 9th & 10th respectively.

Quietly hoping for a 'fan flop of the year' of it. Her voice just turns me off a little and I find Roxen overhyped, maybe this is that?

I am guilty of Alcohol You hate! but I actually don't mind Amnesia lol. Alcohol You reeked of pretentious artistry and meaningitis, but Amnesia is just like... nebulous poetry that tries to reach out at young people going through mental problems. It's not very effective, but it's good-natured at least.

It could still be better if there was some *clarity* provided by the song ad rem, rather than to have me dive in and disect it myself, but oh well. Not everyone can be Victoria Georgieva.

Yes the vocal is overproduced in this. I think live it will be much better. I actually liked "Alcohol you" much more in the live version, the shaky vocals were fitting with the song. Hopefully they won't throw an autotuned backing track that will cover everything.

This is playback, but still I can't imagine a girl with such unique looks and voice to be left behind in a semi, just can't see it. The song itself is also sooo good.. if this doesn't qualify and acts like Norway will.. no words.

if that happens then Europe truly is tasteless. It's not that I don't like Norway, it's fine but compared to Roxen.. hmm.. Juries also have to save her if she won't advance with the televote, while Norway won't get a lot of support from either of them I think, maybe like 8th with televote max. but with the jury max. 13th
