The hype is beginning... you can feel it. A small cult of Cezar fans are forming, soon just like Valentina, Cezar's fandom will explode!!!! It happens with everything that at first i'm the lonesome fan of..... Rona, Valentina.... Cezar. My crystal ball sees the future and it's high so hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiihxyes.

OMG, as a faithful fan of Rona from last year, I'm shocked to see her in such company :?

Still, I'm starting to be with you on this. By ellevating Cezar to these mocking heights, they are sort of acknowledging its ridiculousness and making proper use of it, taking advantage of it. Hell, it's going to be FUN! xup To the final with it!

Still, leave wonderful, emotional Rona out of it please! IOTAP

Indeed, it is the most joyous of novelty entries sung amazing by Mr. Cezar!.. and now with this staging and performance, it's clear to all what Cezar is trying to achieve. Usually these kind of things are disasters but this looks incredible. The extravagance is beyond anything i've seen before.

And you know how much I love Rona and how seriously I take her.. but even she i'd like to think would appreciate Cezar. I mean she did wear a plastic neck collar last year and have a dreadlock curled into a snake on her chest. She is theatrical and artistic just like Cezarxyes Obviously the songs are nothing to compare. They are as far away from each other as can be. Both have been unfairly judged by people though. Both will get top...... 5:rolleyes:

Top 5, hmm... Let's say I'll be content with it being in the final.

But you've got a point somehow. Lovely Rona did dress like the Evil Queen from Snow White so maybe, just maybe, she might sympathise with this very camp Count Dracula from gaysylvannia :D

But she wasn't unfairly judged, she was top 5, Albania's best result ever and she will always be remembered. Not that I would have minded her taking loreen's crown, I would have loved it actually, but it would have been asking too much of too many people really :?

Indeed Rona will always be remembered as something very special and a one off in the contest. We'll probably never get something so extraordinary, so raw and experimental.. So "off" and far away from being something typical that it managed to offend and polarise such a large chunk of Eurovision fans. It was the best song ever though for me and I felt from that song and Rona's interpretations of it (that were different each time she'd perform it) something i'd never felt from music before. Rona put her all her lifes despair into that song and the result was life affirming and brilliant.

Her outfit just added to the ridicule she received but it was awesome and she literally I think was the best thing we've ever had on the Eurovision stage. She just did her thing and wore her heart on her sleeve. The best ever! The 5th place was just brilliant. 1st would be asking too much indeed from people. It's just a pity that Eurovision is a contest. Some music just shouldn't be judged. Sorry I get carried away when anyone ever starts talking to me about Ronaxheat

Cezar is like a dash of Rona's theatrics, a dash of Valentina's subtle trollery and a large sprinkling of himself. Hail Cezarxbow

You can get carried away all you want as far as Rona Nishliu is concerned, as I'll second every word you type.

I'm never going to get caught hailing Cezar in any way, but it's impossible to go on disliking someone who makes you laugh this heartily and who's making such a mad visual show out of it.

No Valentina for me though, to that I cannot abide :D

You really like this and listen to this in Real life, or you are joking, I'm a bit confused now.. sorry.. :?

This rehearsal is seriously horrible, if there is any justice this shouldn't qualify...I'm speechless..and if f.e. Anouk stays in semi and this qualify, I dunno, really , that would be DISASTER!! In my countries at least entries and performances like this one give bad reputation to this festival, and my friends laugh to this festival cause of them! :(

Indeed I do. When i'm not listening to jazz music from the 1920's, folk, NeoClassical or Experimental/Avant-Garde offerings, I find myself taking comfort in the extravagantly joyous, novelty delights of Cezar (and Eurovision in general). Much the same as I imagine you taking comfort in listening to the novelty techno delights of Cascada. Music, tis a wonderful thingxyes So many different types of songs and ways to enjoy the splendid art form that is music.

But he doesn't sing very well tbh, he is out of tune, quite a lot, I call this quasi opera! :) And I dislike everything quasi and fake in my life! :)

No offense really! Peace! :)

I think he sings wonderfully. It's actually the most enjoyable part of it, especially when watching a live performance of the song. It's obviously an extremely kitsch song and performance but I find it very well sung and performed. I smile and laugh when I listen to it. It raises my spirits. A lot of people who don't like the song agree at least that he has a very good voice and performs well.

Indeed it is peace. Music is a very subjective thing. My ears enjoy Cezar's singing as do the ears of Andrea Bocelli who is rooting for his friend Cezar. In the context of Eurovision I think this song is great and will entertain and make the faces smile of many on the night of the contest.

For me too, but in negative way OF COURSE! :)

And everybody normal will agree that in ESC we can't find REAL quality opera singers..everybody who claim opposite...no comment.. :)

Thank you again for subtlety hinting at the fact i'm not "normal". I quite like being different.

But you ARE normal, cause you OF COURSE think that in ESC real opera singers don't appear..it's a fact! Simple as that! :) It's just like we can say Rihanna and Beyonce don't appear at ESC, the same goes for real quality opera singers, if you think that they appear, then I rally dunno where they are? :) Understand?

Whats a real opera singer? I actually don't like this "real" business. I know the people that listen to opera can be very snooty people and quite above themselves. It seems a very elitist culture to be a part of. Thats probably why i'm not actually keen on the genre and haven't really explored much of it although I respect it. Cezar actually has some balls for doing this because yeah, the people in his world I can't imagine are going to be best pleased with him... or maybe they are nice people and respect him no matter what?

I'm absolutely delighted that Rihanna and Beyonce don't appear at ESC. I actually find it hard to think of a singer I dislike more than Beyonce.
