I think we have to distinguish. His talent is indoubt (I don't believe there is so many people in the world to move steadly his voice from so many octaves!).

Said this, the song is awful, IMHO, since there is no connection between is singing and the background dance music.

Idea is rather great, but result is very poor. And I don't think it is Cezar fault but it's rather finger out those making arrangements. This song gives to me the same feeling of Pred za radzeni from FYROM. Good idea, good performer but very very bad result!
This song must be completely rearmonized by next month!

People tend to overlook this, because it's understandably a song that not everyone likes. Best singer? YES!

"It's My Life" is the only Romanian entry I recall myself ever liking. "Playing With Fire" was good though actually, I seem to recall not many expecting it to do well.

I don't remember ever liking an entry from romania, or I don't much recall many of them, which amounts to the same thing. Last year was rubish and the duet was simply horrible. 2013 just follows the same line, really.

Not saying Cezar isn't a very talented man, he obviously is as there's not many who can sing like that. He's just not using his talent right.

Let's face it, having a man in a suit going through all kinds of terrible grimaces to sing a cheesy song in a woman's voice must surely be reaching the top of the world's ridiculousness.
