Romania is easily my guilty pleasure of this year. It's tremendously cheesy and frightening in places, but for some reason I keep wanting to listen to it again and again!

I'm sure he's talented and can sing other songs adequately, but this song is complete trash.

"Love is so bright.. like a diamond in the sky", just a matter of time when he would make a mistake on the lyrics. I did it a million times before and I'm quite worried he will mess up in ESC. Some lyrics just puts you in that trap of singing the wrong lyrics. I don't know why. This song is one of these. I hope his voice stays fresh for May. Just don't get a cold, plzzzzz...

I think we have to distinguish. His talent is indoubt (I don't believe there is so many people in the world to move steadly his voice from so many octaves!).
Said this, the song is awful, IMHO, since there is no connection between is singing and the background dance music.
Idea is rather great, but result is very poor. And I don't think it is Cezar fault but it's rather finger out those making arrangements. This song gives to me the same feeling of Pred za radzeni from FYROM. Good idea, good performer but very very bad result!
This song must be completely rearmonized by next month!

I agree with this, if he stuck to his music genre his odds would be probably much higher. Granted, classical music doesn't have the best track record in Eurovision but then again, we haven't had much of that to begin with.
The song itself is just incredibly uninspiring melodically & lyrically and adding the mismatch of song vs style only adds to the confusion.
