This is awesomely bad!! The only way I might consider voting for it is if they perform the karaoke version on stage on the night (i.e. no terrible vocals!!)

Gee, who might the other six be? Mind you, there are Romanians living abroad, but even so...

Well, I'm not going to "out" people. Everybody can love whatever they want.
And I'm not saying that Romania is the only country doing that. For some reason though Romania, the U.K. and Sweden has the most "loyal" citizens and a majority of their 12 points they give themselves. Germany was the same from 2010 to 2012 but this year it's a lot more mixed.

Very. And a juror did too. He even looked like a normal kind of man :?
That juror is the person who recommended the singer to the composer of the song. So it's normal to support his own recommendation, isn't it? ;)

Maybe, of course I didn't know that. What I don't find so normal is having jurors who are that commited...

Maybe they didn't know how committed he was, the composer explained this after the final..

Well, then they should do something about it, now that they do know. He wouldn't have won if it wasn't for those 12 points I guess.

Haters gonna hate!
Relax, Romania will not miss the final and for those who hope so you’ll be very disappointed in the end.
I think he has big chances to bring us a good placing in Malmo.

"I think he has big chances to bring us a good placing in Malmo" xrofl3 Yeah, sure xcrazy I hope we will miss the final! I hope for the last place in semifinal!! Yeah!! Utter crap! xpuke

And there was also the 1st juror, who gave 0 points to Luminita, after he claimed that he gave his points based on song quality, interpretation, and capacity of the singer to represent RO on an international stage.. As much as he could hate the song, and but c'mon, Luminita had one of the best results ever for RO, so clearly the latter criterion was accomplished, and the interpretation wasn't bad either.. The guy was very criticised after the show, and Luminita left very upset.

Indeed, I found that juror's vote very strange too. You may like Luminita's song or not, but her performance was faultless.

Luminita or Electric Fence would have been great :(

Luminita had the better performance though.

I don't know if it's possible to demonstrate that this was the reason for his 12. I mean, those people all know each other, there are friendships and rivalries, the others might not have been objective either (see 1st juror example). C'est la vie :)

Besides, Romanians like opera and classical music in general. But they are also loyal as you say. Unlike Spaniards, who use to bash whatever they send :) (not all of them, of course).
But I still don't get how he got to be 1st in televote.. I'd say that the opera lovers are not among the usual ESC televoters.. :?

Even if Luminita ranked 1st in the jury voting Cezar would have still won because she was 3rd in the televoters opinion and he was 1st. It would have been 20 vs 20 and the one who has more points from the televoters wins.
