You mean Central-East right? Because Western-Central is already heading down that direction...

Oh and with the new EU rules that will even FORCE countries like yours to transform into European Iraqis, then your time will come aswell my friend ;) All Europe is going down now :(

Yes, the EU will force everyone to accept immigrants, LOL are you on drugs?

Anyway........ this thread is about Qatar...

I'm not on drugs, the Parliament and Commission already decided that's the way it has to be xshrug

I know it is, I have no idea how it ended up being a discussion about Israel though... so don't blame that on me, I just joined the conversation ;)

Show me PROOF, on paper. Nobody can order another country who to let in, I don't believe you for a second, this smells like conspiracy theory from a mile...

First and foremost, speaking of cultural differences in relation to Eurovision is pointless. It's a pop-culture event.
Secondly, if you really want to map cultural regions of the world, i'm outta here. I can only imagine what kind of nonsense criteria will be used in here.

Were you born yesterday or what? It's European Union we're talking about. In terms of importance, EU's legislation stands only below constitution, but above local law.

This is really off-topic, but here is one of many sources (I mostly found in Swedish though):

Common asylum system close to completion | European Voice

What this means in reality, is that now also countries like Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Lithuania etc. will be forced, by the EU, to take part in this idiocy destroying their countries and Europe as a whole... so congrats... the only thing you can do is vote for parties in the EU election next year and also in your own next parliamentary election that are against this.

The asylum system itself isn't that bad. It's only 70.000 people a year of 82 million in Germany. The bigger problem are the poverty immigrants which illegally cross the border. Us northern countries are lucky that these immigrants have to stay in the countries they first entered which will be Spain, Italy and Greece. These countries really have to cope with the influx of poor, uneducated muslim immigrants.

Regarding Israel: They're definitely a Western country with a lot of European influence and heritage. On the one hand I'd like them to join the EU, but on the other hand the EU isn't democratic so I can't recommend it at the moment.

Well, living in Sweden that takes in most immigrants/capita in whole Europe (and even more in total numbers than Germany)... well I will say no more.

Anyways back to Qatar... a country I hope we will NEVER see in ESC!

This is getting way off-topic. Let's stop this non sense conversation and talk about Qatar entering Eurovision (which itself is a non sense conversation  )

You need to get your facts straight

It's the ONLY country in a whole region that actually has all those things...

Maybe you mixed it up with Egypt or the Palestinian Authority Region? I know geography can be difficult for some... afterall Israel is just a tiny strip of land in mids of countries that fits your description spot on ;)

Qatar if given the chance to enter (which is improbable) will be doing an Azerbaijan hiring foreign composers and dancers
