Okay, then the Italian entry mightn't be Jazz but it has a very similar relaxed and 'classy' feel to it (to amateurs' ears, at least xD). While I personally like it, I do not think it is instant at all (in fact I needed a lot longer to get the melody into my head than it was the case with their 2011 and 2012 entries, actually I am still struggling ). Neither of their comeback entries could reach the voters' Top-10 that is why I'd be genuinely surprised if this went much further. But who knoweth, surprises are bound to happen. I do not want to write it off yet.
Did Iceland (2009), the Ukraine (2011) and Azerbaijan (2012) suddenly belong to the Balkans? The difference was that these songs were more contemporary/pop-driven and memorable.
Only very well staged ballads from the Balkans can do well with televoting these days .
