I don´t want to be a debbie downer, you´ve got an amazing national final this year - I just wanted to give me two cents how I feel about the "fan favourites" as a foreigner.

If you ask me I think that would deserve to qualify with a lot of acts this year but every time I watch/hear Mimicat´s performance/songs, it gives me that strange (almost surefire) NQ-kind-of-vibe.

@TB98 I don´t think that can "easily flop" - it was already #1 on Spotify Global Viral (we´ve already seen her performance) and also had an incredible staging for such a tiny and low-budget NF today - there´s no way won´t be qualifying, imo.

Norway, I was mostly talking final wise than necessarily semifinal wise. I think girl is safe to go through but I honestly don't think she's that big contender for the win that people think. The Spotify thing, while great, is not really great to predict Eurovision. You had Rosa Linn being a massive hit after Eurovision and girl only placed 20th. But we'll see.

The thing is, with the amount of bops and out of the box songs we have in the semifinal, 1 or 2 "safe" contenders will end up flopping. We never know. But you might be right.

I thought it was pretty obvious after what happened with Fado Bicha. But they came 6th, so I guess they can still get saved by the public.

I think Ivandro could (and should) do well with the juries actually. He has a good voice and decent song with some nice elements in it. Staging is a bit random with all these white blocks tho.

I think so. The final will be quite unpredictable imo.

I read something about him being the most streamed artist in Portugal today. But that doesn't mean anything in the FDC context.
