For our friends that don't speak Portuguese, there was a problem with televoting with one of the songs (Sapatos de Cimento). The lines didn't work. So RTP decided to send them directly to the final, thus making 6 direct finalists instead of 5.

We still have a wildcard to go. Hope Nehon Solo makes it. I wasn't expecting them to flop after that performance.

Yes, there was a problem in the televote and people couldn't vote on the song 10 so they gave them a free pass to the final

The judges on the final won't be the same, but I think it was the televote that placed then low.
I only voted because there was this supervote and probably many people also only voted for them after they weren't on the first 6 selected for the final.

I really thought Neon Soho were winning the jury, after that performance. Clearly not lmao.

Happy the public woke up and saved them. Still pissed they weren’t among the first 6 though. Ugh...

Watching some performances back and I think I liked Neon Soho the most + it's the most "complete" package for now. I can see this on a big stage and qualifying in ESC. Weird thing that they struggled to make it.

I don't know what the Portugese think about it, but I don't feel Claudia and/or Mimicat really brought a sure winning song.

So.. still all to go for Bandua! God I hope they will have a good live.

To me Claudia was the clear winner and she probably is going to make it. The performance is very strong and if she makes to eurovision she can place pretty high.

April Ivy was a clear NQ. The voice wasn’t there, the choreography was odd. I appreciate the effort of bringing something like this to the FdC but unfortunately it wasn’t on point.

Right now to eurovision I’m team Claudia but looking forward to Tinoco on semi 2.

My guess is that the majority of the public may have found it too artsy and those that liked it just didn't felt compelled to pick up the phone thinking that the judges would place them high.
On the other hand their video is the 4th most viewed of the semifinal so their placement could have been the judges fault.
