I must say it's sad to see how this beautiful song is underrated :( xheart But I'm proud of it, as our host entry.. :D I believe it would work better, probably much better without Isaura. xshrug

It'd work better in any other year where we weren't hosts. We're being overlooked probably because of that. I genuinely believe in this.

I don't know about that, but it's certainly being underrated in any possible way. But well we're on our way back to our usual placing. :?

I really hope that something awful like that won't happen. It would be shame. :(

Taste differs, but this is not underrated because you're hosts, I think it would fail in any year actually. It's not me trying to be rude or anything, but there is no mass appeal what so ever with this song, it's targeting a very specific audience, and many of those aren't even ESC fans nor casual viewers of this contest.

Why should the entry be overlooked because you are the host country? That doesn't make any sense to me.... On the other hand I think that normally the entry of the host country will get a bit extra attention, just for being the host country.
I suspect O Jardim would be a NQ in any other year, because as has been said by A-lister: it lacks mass-appeal.

Claudia is so gorgeous on blue carpet, she should be dressed in this style during performance, but I doubt she will. :) And I love this updo hairstyle more, so beautiful.

I like Portugal so much more this year than last year. Cláudia sings directly to my heart.

I wish I could like it more as I really like her vocals but the song just.....puts me to sleep :( I think the juries will probably support her and as for the televoting....it could go either way. But anyway, it's still a very decent entry that objectively deserves the support that it is getting. From me however

3 points.

Cláudia looks really good in that outfit xlove now I worry that the 1st half is packed with ballads...

Hopefully that won't happen! I actually think we should only worry about what's coming after and before our song!

And I agree, Cláudia looks AMAZING in that dress!

Sorry, but he is the most arrogant winner of ESC of all times. He's acting like he considers himself as the messiah of a rotten Eurovision. He so spoils my joy over Portugals first victory and my pleasure in his beautiful song.

In a way, he kind of is. It was getting a bit absurd where artists were concentrating their efforts mostly on the show aspect, and not the song. They were structuring everything so that it would maximize their chances to get as many votes as possible, as opposed to just creating good songs and THEN building a performance around it.

What makes me angry is this attitude to pretend to know or say how the contest has to be or how the music in the contest has to be.
