Re: PORTUGAL 2018

It is the same here in Sweden. But yeah, it is rare in bigger european countries like Germany, France and Italy for example.

True! I never was in Sweden but I think it's the same in The Netherlands. They even have english stuff non subtitled. Does the same thing happen in Sweden?

I'm just catching up a bit since I'm mostly blind - Janeiro is the kind of artist I can often find very insincere, but the melody to his song is too beautiful to ignore. Cláudia uses the uptempo-ness of her beat really well, but I don't love that drum that comes in.

This is weird and unique to me at the same time, I guess it happens in other countries as well tho
this is the normal way to do things imo
i'd ban dubbing in europe if i could..
at times, it's so cringe.. thankfully my country uses subtitles too xyes:D

I don't see anything wrong in dubbing, it's a form of art xD

I couldn't live without the iconic Italian voice of Meryl Streep for example xheart

Rarely, it is mostly some interviews that might not be not subtitled, but other than that, we are pretty good at putting subs on things though.

Filomena Cautela has proved to be a great choice as a hostess for ESC.

Cant stand subtitles, you have to stuck to the display, you can miss something important in movie when you are reading subs, and its bad for eyes
