Re: PORTUGAL 2013

First! xcheer

I just wish we send a dance-pop or power pop entry in 2013. xcrossed But I'm all open to any other good act/song. A rock entry would be interesting too. :)

@Jukica Me too. Something upbeat would be great. That song has a latin flavour. Anyway, I wouldn't mind an electro song.

I agree with mono. I'd love to see some contemporary Portuguese music at ESC

Indeed... Portugiese music can also be beautiful without being traditional, as the examples are showing.

Re: PORTUGAL 2013

the problem with RTP is that they show europe whats NOT happening in portuguese music at the moment. Fado, i agree and we should send it again in the future but i also think its important to show the world the modern stuff we make.

Why not MAU?

Although that may be difficult as I believe there are 5 nationalities in MAU

LMAO. r3gg13, you crack me up. Kuduro???? Hum....I'm not sure.

Tbh, Kuduro isn't my favorite genre, but I have a feeling it can do well. Especially if there are good dancers

Also, if Portugal is sticking with the ballad route, you should send Tony Carreira!!

Amor Electro would be great too, for something a little different :)

Tony Carreira is too big for Eurovision. His son - David Carreira - would be a better and the most appropriate choice, for sure. Amor Electro - great fado pop, I like it. And no more ballads. 2010 was enough. Another ballad in 2017 or something.

 . I'll wait for 2017 then

I would love to see David too, it would be awesome to have something modern and dancey from Portugal. Ana Duarte would be great as well, at least for me :D

Mickael Carreira would be interesting too. He's like our 90s Enrique Iglesias. Latin pop could do well. :D

Seriously, I have big faith in our next year's entry. No more music themes. Festival da Canção needs to be ecletic again. And I hope they dismiss the juries but RTP would never. :geek:

Re: PORTUGAL 2013

RTP should select an entry internally and that's it. This is my wish list (LOL):

Amor Electro (pop, rock, alternative)

David Carreira (dance-pop)
