Thank you Poland for a great national final! Really enjoyed the songs, I was rooting for Lusterka and Immortal, and great to see Teo get a 6th place! hred:cool:

As for Gaja - Justyna has an amazing voice, but I personally don't think that is really enhanced in this entry. For me this is personally too noisy and mostly screaming. :5: Good luck Poland hred

I don't know if I've watched too much Wings of Pegasus on YouTube, but does she really sing the choruses 100 percent live? I can't see her microphone, and I'm surprised she can hold the note for so long when moving around and smiling.

It's a 4 from me.

Oh yes, she can. That’s what she’s known for.

Poland is getting red updates on the betting odds. #21 now and falling.

When the songs got released, Poland was #12. I know it's too early to come up with predictions and odds aren't really important at this point but it's a really bad sign if you just voted for your entry and after a very Eurovision-ready (almost overproduced) entry, you're already dropping and getting red updates (especially on a day without any other NF results).

It is a bit in the middle of road here. The staging is overdramatized and that's what makes the performance weak. Sometimes a bit less is more. But all in all :7:.

Please... Malta just surpassed Portugal to become #9 in the odds. The bookies are probably smoking something, and I do not think the odds could mean less currently if they tried 'xD

In earnest though: Poland were #21 for a while before the NF decision, and so far that is 2 red dots as far as I see. No dropping yet. And yes, this will not win, I think we are all aware of that.

Malta's performance is genuinely trashy and fun, imo. It's dated as well but at least it got a memorable chorus and a catchy hook.
"Gaja", however, is an overproduced attempt to rehash "Witcher" and putting everything into the performance which would have been camp back in ESC 2009 already.

So far, I can see Malta qualifying, tbh.
I don't mind such guilty pleasures songs or entries which pleases the "slay kween" ESC guys but it's enough for this year, imo.

I don't need to see Athena win in Armenia on Sunday.

I can also see Malta qualifying, and I hope it will. But it's #9 in the odds to win, and that IMO it's ridiculous.

Malta bein anywhere near the top10 is a joke, but I think it wasn't Malta that rose in the odds, it was Portugal that fell. One of the possible winners in the portuguese nf is called Henka with a metalcore song, with also a lot of screams, with Poland and Portugal competing in the firs half of the semi 1 one of them may overpower the other and Poland has a bigger budged than Portugal...

who will be the queen of the slayqueens this year?
there are some options and from armenia maybe coming the most powerful soon...
personally i think that poland has wasted again a really good ethno song - last year that ethno banger from the movie and this year nearly the same story.
final is possible but in the final the last third then think so.
overall i have seen a good show with 11 solid or better acts - so thank you poland for this very nice show.xqueenbitch

The drop was all about Malta's shortening.
This song and Henka's one are different. But let's see... On thursday, RTP will start to publish some sneak peaks from the rehearsals.

"Gaja" has everything! Perhaps even a bit too much of everything...
I think it's a good entry that could do well, but it would be nice if they'll maķe the performance a bit more simple.
It's very impressive, but a bit too chaotic, I think.

Still a very good Polish entry! Definitely in my top 3 in what appears to be a pretty bad 2025 -edition so far

If only the vocals were better, this polish entry would be a solid and safe top 10 but unfortunately it's not great vocally and also a bit chaotic. It's my 4th so far this year but maybe also the most likely to fall into my ranking when other entries are revealed if they are better vocalists. I give this a :8:
