I like "The Tower". It is a song that manages to radiate feelings: it has a style halfway between sweetness and dream. Maybe it's a song, like "Snap", that isn't a hit in a contest but more on the radio and commercial side. It will grow with time. The staging confuses me. On the one hand I don't like it; although consistent with the music video by showing the theme of chess and black vs white, I am not won over by the slightly forced masks and dances of the chessboard pieces. On the other hand, however, I seem to sense that surrealist dreamlike atmosphere that winks at Dalì's madness: a starry sky streaked with falling stars, a life-size chessboard, chessboard pieces, Luna and a large red horse. How can you not be fascinated by it? I don't know, "The Tower" is an unknown. It can swing from ninth place to following in the same footsteps as “Snap.” I lean more towards the second way. In this crazy-sounding edition it could unfairly fall into anonymity and then grow, as previously mentioned, from the end of the contest onwards.
