Seriously, I think she has a good enough voice. The issue might be the song, I can't see her come up with something else than a dull tune unfortunately. So, like you, I'm not thrilled by that news. :?

If there's anyone I would like to come back to ESC from, it's Cleo (without Donatan) or Michał with a little more current music style.
She said the entry is composed by Swedish people who are successful at ESC (oh really) so it might be uptempo even, but her music career is non existent (she will not win the NF this time..) and I don't expect anything good from her plus she gave us very cliche ESC performance back in 2009..Why so surprised? let's pray she will give up releasing stupid oversexualised Americanized crappy rappy songs by Donatan, it worked with "My Słowianie" well but it doesn't when there's no message behind.. her latest single is a nightmare

Every successive single from Cleo is worse and worse, I feel like her vocabulary includes 20 words and 10 phrases and computer combines those random expressions to make lyrics for her new "hits". "My Słowianie" is my all-time fav entry in Eurovision, but after this I cannot see nothing interesting in Cleo and her weak plastic songs and videos.
She looks like Gosia Andrzejewicz in "Pali się" music video, btw.
Lidia Kopania? Well, our Eurovsion failures have her face, but something uptempo is really welcomed. I don't think she could do better than Marcin Mroziński (a.k.a. Martin F., because he is international now) in our last NF. They are both from the same black period of Polish poor performances in ESC, but we will see.
I don't feel like cooperation with Swedish songwriters is a key to being succeed. To be honest, typical Swedish pop sounds a little bit outdated now. I remember Swedish singer called September and her song "Cry For Me" or "Until I Die", they were huuuuge hits in Poland, but it was many years ago and now when I read about "Swedish procuders" I can still hear the same type of music. Like this robot-boy from Sweden last time. Too plastic for me, even if I do really like pop music, but now it should be done in different way.
From Polish pop stars I would like to see on ESC stage Sarsa. I like singles from her "Pióropusze" album including titular song.
From our previous representatives, I think only Michał Szpak could give us good place and memoriable performance and excitement during voting, but 2018 is too soon to come back, I think...?

I am not a big fan of Sarsa, but her latest song "Motyle i ćmy" is really cool, sounds a bit like Lana del Rey. The live performance of this song she gave yesterday in "the Voice of Poland" was actually very good, I would be proud of an entry like that representing us. I have no idea how far would we go with it at ESC though.
Knowing her, the song would be translated 100% to English.
Nykiel's "Total Błękit" sounds cool also.

The chorus is not so powerful as in COYL but this is not bad, he sounds better live than in studio.
Margaret said she won't do Eurovision, same with Doda, she said she will never ever go to Eurovision in the latest interview. Michał is our last hope

If Michał Szpak wants to represent Poland on Eurovision, he can do it very easily. TVP could choose him internally, he is in a good terms with them. He probably would win national final again if there will be any. Competition in "Krajowe eliminacje" is always pretty weak, one-two favourites and the rest is only a background.

She shouldn't give up if she has something to offer, her 2016 entry was lame so if she's blaming the results on other aspects she's deluding herself...
