As I can see, the stage looks really nice, I wish it was maybe more bright and summer-vibe, but I found it very nice actually.

That’s what I thought as well, I somehow expected some brighter and/or lighter colours, for now it seems a bit too sombre. Doesn't help either that all of them are dressed in black  It works for the strophes, but not for the chorus.

Anyone knows how the rest of the staging looks? I've only seen the snippet from the official ESC channel for now.

Well, I was watching streaming and reactions of one from Polish journalists and according to him... (SPOILER ALERT)... the second part of our performance is so much better and it is growing till the end. Lucas is going through the catwalk or bridge, he's having a contact with the audience and giving high fives to the people, camera is showing a bigger perspective and all those dancing people around the scene, there is more pyro and just nice atmosphere that lights you up. I will not watch longer clips from different media tommorow, because I want to have a little surprise next week. I think it's a good idea to allow them record only some parts of the show, but probably someone will upload 2-minutes-long clip of Poland tommorow.

I must admit that I am a fan of our backing vocalists. I like to watch how they enjoy the show, they are smiling, it's just fun. I totally agree with wiwi opinion about our rehersal which was very positive. I wish another media could see those things in Polish entry.

I hope that we can manage result better than 20th place in juries, but if not - I don't know what kind of song Poland should sent to reach at least average result from juries. Some countries e.g. Ukraine, Australia, Sweden have always better results with similiar song choices. I don't want to complain but I don't know why "experts" or bookies place us so low and songs like this one from Belarus or Ukraine are so much higher. Through last 4 years we've been sending different songs (My Słowianie / Flashlight / Color of your life) and always ended bottom in jury votes. Okay, this is only a prelude to the things I would post in next weekend, but I hope that Poland's thread will be not a full of grouses about juries and of course diaspora-voting topics. :p

Seriously, I am optimistic about our performance and about the results... less. I like "Light Me Up" so much, this is my second favourite song (just right after My Słowianie). I want to see us on the left side of the results. :d

Kasia Moś was 12th in televoting, so I don't think it'd be hard to beat her result this year.

To be honest, I can understand the juries, I disliked all of the Polish entries since their comeback  But Light Me Up got me hooked ever since the first time I listened to it, so it surprises me even more that it still receives such an underwhelming feedback from the bookies and... yeah, "experts", haha. I like to think that Poland this year is the Norway of last year, so sort of like a black horse. I may be a bit biased though, as I have a weakness for EDM, so it's kinda easier to convince me than with other genres (still need to comprehend what people see in Hungary this year).

But it's good to hear that the staging will have a clear progression, the song needs movement and fireworks. They should actually burn down the hall!

I feel sad to read all those hate comments. I think I have to start preparing myself for the worst. Jury will kiss us once again for sure. People seem to love Malta and it may overshadow us :(

Looking objectively, I feel like Poland is a relatively safe qualifier, and that's coming from someone who's got the song in his bottom 5. Not a 100% lock-on for qualification – 70% or so, maybe – but in a year as uncertain as this, I'd say that's not too bad. I think expecting a left-side finish might be a bit of a stretch though.

She might pull a Greta Salome with that LED-dependent show

I hope for a qualification for Poland, the bookies are underrating this too much. Sure the song is nothing spectacular, but it's still one of the better ones in its semi and should at least be in the final.

I believe we can actually do it. EDM music is popular nowadays and people may vote for us. I've read options that our song is a bit dated, but honestly, song 'Stressed Out' by 21 pilots was dated too, it sounded like 2005 for me and it was a hit. + song by that woman that dated my future husband had song 'End Game' that sounds so 90s. People seem to like dated songs.

We'll be fine xheart

This is very average but still good enough to make me play it again from time to time. I think it should have no problems to qualify, really, people like songs like these.
