Yay! I actually liked all of the jury's top 3 songs but I think Light Me Up is the best chance for Poland to get a good placement.

That drop is really underwhelming, nothing interesting about it - you could hear something like that in millions of other mainstream house songs...
I am happy that a song like this is in ESC though, so let's see if this grows on me.

Poland does the same thing like every year: Choosing a song I don't find interesting, even though the fans hype it hard. Then it's Eurovision time and it places alright - even better than some of my favorites. I don't like it but good luck, dear neighbors xlove

the polish NF was very strong and i would be happy with a number of winners, gromee/lukas one of them. my favourite was ifi ude but i am happy with this.

things get interesting now though because i don't see how juries justify marking poland down this year. this is exactly the kind of modern, current, but still engaging song juries have favoured recently. if grab the moment was a jury success last year and this song just gets destroyed like the last 4 polish entries, i call shenanigans and political voting.

Good pop song,
mediocre vocal performance, and no charisma.
6 points.

He sucks at high notes. The song has got that Avicii vibe that was out of fashion since Zelmerlow's Heroes. Thsi really has no appeal at all to me

come on.. come on .. In Poland they discovered a lemonade music with DJ

melody and sound: nothing new, no wooow effect..

vocals: there is no .. the guy recites the text more

some special effects and musical contribution: there are no

All in all , inexpensive and non-genuine radio frendly little song, which we heard a million times.

which points to beautiful and big zero points from me.

who is to follow..in its nonoriginality and insignificance..

Before I even write anything about the entry, I come here with a big bouquet of flowers for my friend revallsay who I know was very nervous about tonight, and stressing out for weeks over her country making what she thought was the right choice. I smiled thinking of you when I saw who'd been pickedxheart

I feel weird for liking this. It's definitely a generic pop song that's been done so many times and I usually hate on those but this song strangely makes me happy xmusic

I havent been following the polish preselections this year. If this was the best they could come up with I obviously didnt miss out on anything. Poland has done well ultimately. I have been thinking that it's just a matter of a few years before we will be going to Poland in May. Well; it surely wont happen in 2019.

I will put it very gently; this entry is not very good.....

Lol when i connected here tonight, i though i was going to see only positive reactions about this entry. But i'm surprised there are a lot of negative comments. This song is a Top 5 material at ESC

Great party song, the drop is deadly xheat I will definitely continue to listen to this. Of course a qualifier, I see a mid-table result.

Sigh.
As a Pole myself I think it's best if we just drop out of the contest for a good few years and come back once we realize that Eurovision has moved on from trashy, gimmicky songs to actual quality. Next.

To quote myself from the Azeri thread, since I think pretty much the same thing on this song choice too:

It's a middle-of-the-road, vaguely-uplifting bit of midtempo chart pop with some nice sections but a weak chorus and nothing to make it stand out. It's decently produced, and it's not offensive, but it's definitely not what I was hoping for [...] 3 points.

I can't complain quite so much here, as it was a weak NF in my eyes and so this was my equal favourite anyway. Still, it's bland pop that doesn't really give me anything to latch onto after a few listens, so this will probably languish towards the bottom of my ranking. Glad to see that some others are enjoying it, at least.
