COMPETING THEMES (177)

1. All Around The World: a real-world country is chosen by the host. All artists competing in this event must be from the chosen country. In the case of groups, the majority of people in the group must be from the country. The song can be in any language.

2. AATW type of Spinoff but with NSC nations

3. AI Cover Spinoff

4. Covers & Remixes 5: everyone has to send cover or remixed version of a song previously entered in the main contest, including the original versions of songs whose covers or remixes were entered in NSC.

5. Major/Minor: songs changed from major into minor key (and vice versa)

6. NSC ESC Classic: any entry from any year allowed

7. NSC NF

8. Oldies: tba, the host can decide the timeframe

Guilty Pleasure comes first to my mind, but I don't like the term.

I remember it was suggested some time ago as Surprise Me or sth like that.

I wouldn't say that... Most of my spinoff entries (some remixes excluded) could have been regular NSC entries, and the same goes for the one I've chosen for this spinoff. I like the theme of this spinoff, which is why I voted for it, and I thought the themes were what spinoffs were all about...

Wow, this will be the first time ever I will host something on this forum. I don't know what to expect tbh :O xD The reservations thread for A spinoff where you send a song from a genre you hate, but absolutely adore the song. So based on this pot system, maybe Pot 3ers could try sending a pop/mainstream indie. On the other hand, people from Pot 1 & 2 could try send something alternative they enjoy listening to. will be opened in the next few days
