Five cents.
Absolutely right! (y) The bonus is yours!

bonus #5
You will have to use a calculator to solve this task xLO If you answer correctly, you will be able to choose your favorite number to participate in any semifinal!

There are 127 players participating in a tennis tournament. In the first round, 126 players will make up 63 pairs, the winners of which will advance to the next round, and one more player advances to the second round without playing. In the next round, 64 players will play 32 matches.
How many matches will it take to determine the winner?

Reminds me of the fact that in 1v1 tournament situations involving everyone on earth, you're only 33 battles away from being world champion.

Get your calculators ready, now for sure! xLO
You will be able to choose the nation you would like to be in the same semifinal with.

It took 2,775 figures to publish the book. How many pages are in the book?

Not sure if I understood the question, but 961?

If correct, I don't want the bonus because I find that one somewhat unfair.

Your math is absolutely correct! xacademic
It was a joke bonus as it was, but if you had used it, we would have worked something out.

Despite feeling strongly about my current entry, I think I've stumbled upon a song where I was never so sure halfway through that I need to send it to NSC.

The answer is

5x3+21x2+27x+759+(4794/x-6)
Now find the upper and lower bounds of the polynomial in post 57

Of the 60 participants in the music contest, 37 have already sent in their entries. One has decided to postpone his participation to next year, another has not yet decided to participate... How many more participants will send their entries to the contest?
