Well, as you have already realized, the theme has not been chosen by chance and ahead everyone will have to show their wit and use their knowledge to determine the finalists. And now, as preparation for future challenges, we suggest that all participants get themselves some bonuses for future semifinals. So...

The first person to correctly solve this problem will be able to choose a semifinal number (1 or 2) for their nation!
We need to arrange the four nines so that we end up with a sum of 100.
You can use any math signs you want. Quite a simple task, you can do it quickly.
