NRK wanted them to change the text.. don't you follow the news? Why is everyone spelling it "Ulvham" all of a sudden? It's "Ulveham"...
The text, yes. But not the song title?NRK wanted them to change the text.. don't you follow the news?
The text, yes. But not the song title?
Right. Wasn't aware you were joking. But it doesn't answer my initial question...
I can't be the only one who finds Damdiggida's live performance absolutely trounces the rest of the performances? Even my beloved Gothminister
They were live, just very heavily supported with the backing track mirroring their vocals. If you check the dress rehearsal footage that someone uploaded to YouTube, you can hear Fred and Tom's live vocals much clearer.I wish Fred and Tom were live. They are not as good as Alexandra, and their live performance can be a concern in Malmo (based on what I've seen so far from their live shows). It's so easy to eff up Fred's part in particular, one bleep and it can collapse.
My highly unpopular ranking:
1. Dag Erik Oksvold and Anne Fagermo (Judge Tenderly of Me)
2. Keiino (Damdiggida)
3. Gothminister (We Come Alive)
4. Erica Norwich & Super Rob (My AI)
5. Miia (Green Lights)
6. Annprincess (Save Me)
7. Gåte (Ulveham)
8. Ingrid Jasmin (Eya)
9. Margaret Berger (Oblivion)
I feel like Gåte would just really flop hard at Eurovision, even if it does stand out in this line-up. Keiino massively elevated for me last night and I think it's the best choice, but I absolutely LOVE Judge Tenderly of Me, even though it doesn't stand a chance next week.

Fingers crossed. They were live, just very heavily supported with the backing track mirroring their vocals. If you check the dress rehearsal footage that someone uploaded to YouTube, you can hear Fred and Tom's live vocals much clearer.
It's just the way the song is composed and mixed - Alexandra's parts have far less backing and layering added, while the boys have either distortion/effects (Fred) or layers (Tom) to give extra impact. Both of these things can be largely replicated at ESC with backing vocals on tracks permitted still, so I wouldn't be too worried.
You're serving taste at no.1., that's hardly popular in the Bubble.
Judge tenderly of me is a full song compared to others. A very good song. It might even be the only song of this kind out of all ESC entries this year and it could do surprisingly well.
