Thank you all so much for voting for "Ani Kuni" and
and helping us achieve our 2nd NSC victory
I tried my best to follow the show but was also in the middle of other things all day, so I could only maintain a cursory inspection of the results until now. I actually opened the winning scoreboard moments after losing terribly to my brother in a game of tennis
I have to say this more than makes up for it, though!
Thanks again to all of these nations for your support:

Begonia, Biflovatia (Reym-L-Dneurb)

I normally tend to be incredibly indecisive about my entries for NSC, often leaving it to the last minute and second-guessing myself millions of times, but "Ani Kuni" was really love-at-first-listen for me, to the point where I sent it even before the reservations thread was open
I'm very happy to see that it went over so well here! Especially happy to see the names of quite a few countries that don't usually vote for Serenes up there
I've yet to hear a Polo & Pan song I didn't adore, including their two previous NSC attempts which represented
and helped kickstart my love affair with this group. I do try to avoid sending repeat artists whenever possible - to my knowledge (which certainly may not be accurate) this is just the 2nd time
has been represented by an artist that previously represented another country (Emika being the other case) - but I really couldn't help myself with this song.
Polo & Pan are unquestionably a
act first and foremost and I hope their motherland is proud of them
@Sean, well done on an amazing job of hosting this edition! I wish I could have been more involved in it, particularly Natia Club which was a wonderful idea (unfortunately coinciding with work hours for me on almost every occasion
#USAproblems), but anyway... the love and care you put into this edition shone through every step of the way and I especially loved reading the blurbs in the semi results show about each individual country, it was so incredibly well written and thoughtful
Thank you so much for all your hard work!
On the subject of hosting... after our first attempt at hosting which may be described in the gentlest way possible as unsuccessful, the people of Serenes are motivated, excited, and determined to make up for it and put on a great spectacle for all of Natia (most importantly, we're also much less busy than last time
) - thus, welcome back to Serenes for NSC 195!
I'll brainstorm a theme tonight, but my inbox is clear and ready to receive your entry if you have one ready to go!
