If :me: doesn't qualify this year, then I really don't know when they will....

I am also skeptic of the juries reactions on this, but even more how will this song sound live. It's too electronic. I hope I won't be disappointed.

Also, there will only be the 3 of them on stage, which doesn't seem too promising, but then again, I really hope for a good stage act, because the song deserves it.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing - the song is amazing when you hear it like this, but who knows how will it all look and sound live on stage - after all 95% of viewers will see it for the first time.

What came as shock to me is that there will only be three of them on stage - they should at least put one or two dancers to light the whole thing up (just like the blond vs. black girl in the video - which is flawless scene)!

Exactly my thought. The song gives a wonderful potential for a great stage show, and it would be a real shame if they don't use that. I understand the financial situation and everything.....but it really can't be THAT expensive to have at least two more people on stage.

I just realized another problem....

What are they going to do with the sampled vocals? :?

One thing is for sure - best entry ever from them! :) Tough call to say whether they will qualify or not. They can either completely flop or completely dominate ;)

The best and only actual good Montenegrin entry to date, but is ESC ready for this?

To be quite honest, I hope that Eurovision is never ready for this. The day this kind of music and other club stuff (whatever it's called) floods the contest is the day i'll probably stop watching.

If I wanted to hear this kind of music (which I don't) i'd turn on the radio or watch one of those music channels on the tv. I'm not a dinosaur, I just can't bare this kind of music.

I don't go clubbing. Maybe i'd enjoy it more if I did? I'd go clubbing if clubs played "Suus".

*Pictures the scene.. Opening chords of "Suus" play, the dance floor clears. I enter. Things one cannot describe happen*

I really think the live performance has the unfortunate power of ruining this entry's chances. I hope not, I really want to see Montenegro in the final this year.
When I first listened to the song I had a mixed reaction of WTF? and a bit catchy though, but after the 2nd listening the song really stood in my head :D
That's another problem that I can see this entry having, but if in the running order they pu this right at the beginning of the 2nd half, after all those ballads in the 1st half, the chances of qualifying will increase a lot I think.

I think ESC must be ready for different stuff xshrug

And ESC better step into the new century finally... thing with this one is that it's not just an ordinary club song, it's actually rather heavy... which makes it even more interesting that it entered ESC out of all places (a contest that tend to be way behind in trends and also a bit safe).

I don't want ESC to be flooded with any type of genres, I like the diversity.

I agree, diversity is the best and is what I always hope for.

I really dislike trends though. This year fart beats are very popular. A large chunk of the songs feature them. What i'm worried about losing is probably what a good amount of people are wanting to lose and thats the schlager, eurotrashy stuff we have all come to associate with Eurovision.

I don't mind this song in the contest... I just hope it comes nowhere close to winning:twisted:

With "fart trends" I assume you mean dubstep?

I'm actually a fan of dubstep myself, but I also don't like the desperate dubstep we get here and there... but this song is not some sort of ESC compromise or some light-weight stuff... this is just modern and dirty club music... I can totally see if people dislike it because it's a bit odd and perhaps not in a genre they like... but atleast it's pure in its genre (which can't really be said about many others that try to be milked-down versions fit into some sort of prejudiced idea about what ESC is all about).

I guess that's why I like this song because it simply doesn't give a eff trying to fit into some sort of milk formula packaged especially for ESC.... this has one message "take it or leave it"!

Well thats great then I suppose. I don't really have the right to comment on the song as I don't like the genre at all.. but at least it's as you say true to the genre.

I find the dubstep breakdowns in lots of the songs this year (and in the selections) absolutely hilarious.. especially Cezar's:mrgreen:

I FREAKIN LOVE THIS!!
So worried they'll spoil it live, tho!
Especially in that old-fashioned mini-stage, I wonder how their performance will look like.
Gosh, who would have said they would have come up with such an awesome song! *_*

Of course you have the right to comment on songs even if you dislike the genres

We're all here to discuss and share our different opinions so that's just natural...

But whether one like this or not, one can't blame this for being some sort of silly compromise...

Oh that's just hilarious

I agree... but it won't I'm afraid :(

EBU will screw this over, this is too modern and odd for their taste...

They've put it after the commercial break (bad draw!) and the juries will probably have it in their bottom :(
