Love that she won But the lyrics really deter me from enjoying this song lol. Plus it's the most generic Eurovision-y Euro-Pop song there could be, brings absolutely nothing new or exciting besides the performance I guess, so that's the only thing there is to focus on. I genuinely loved "Breathlessly" so much when pretty much no one else did so this is a huge downgrade for me, but I feel like next year they really should go back to the folk-y stuff since that's the only thing they qualify with And I love those entries anyways.

Yeah, I'm with you there. Richard and Joe had the best song of the night, and one of the better performances, but Joe's vocals were weak in a few crucial moments.

I give it 2 points since it screams borderline qualifier to me. Remember she's in semi 2, the semi of death, blood bath. I feel she either would barely qualify ending 10th by the help of the juries as I don't see this in the Top 10 with the televote; or it will end up like 11th or 12th in the semi.

I can’t believe how brilliant this actually is…I have watched it now for the first time..
when i listened to the songs a month ago, I didn’t like anything..
This is so bizarre, retro, strange, a bit trashy, that performance with her long hair her moves, her arms moves..dance inside the box, banal lyrics..this is smth special! I ADORE this! ahhaha
I can see this in the final of Lisbon..

This song didn't really catch my attention after the first listening, it's just too similar to many other songs. But in the end I was kinda happy this won. Anything to avoid "Song for Dad". The performance was great and I think it has more chances to qualify than to stay in the semifinal. It's not a sure qualifier though, but I hope it goes to the final.

But all my snub to the juries for not giving a single point to the great Deborah C (my big favourite). Come on, the show was full of bad songs with terrible performances and this is the only one to be left without a single point. Thank God Maltese public gave her something, not enough though...

I find it so annoying how the lyrics keep on repeating words: animals - animals... criminals - criminals... miracle - miracle... animals - animals...
And that is not the only thing I find annoying about this song. I have given it three tries and the result is the same; I find the repeating of words annoying, I dont really find the song interesting, and the performer adds nothing extra (quite on the contrary).
I am afraid Malta continues their streak of rather uninspiring songs...
