Re: MALTA 2018

I would say after the performances so far, It's obvious that Richard and Joe should win. But it's Malta, and they love bland pop music, so congrats on the ticket to Lisbon, Brooke!

Malta also love super safe radio accessible folk pop songs performed by charming people, so don't count out Richard & Joe. Their song feels much more "Malta" than Brooke's song in my opinion. Malta like sending things they are touched by.

You're a pack of wolves with a heart of gold? WTF does that even mean?

The build up to the chorus, and the chorus itself, are epic and lively. The verses need work though and not sure about the, err, slightly more hip elements on the song!! Mixed feelings, but overall I am a fan

I like Christabelle and her previous attempts, but these are BBC-level lyrics. How does one "break the taboo"?

Re: MALTA 2018

The song breathes typical Malta so much, but Christabelle really pulls off a good show.

Wooah "Taboo" feels like a huge contender thanks to that performance. She's throwing everything at it.

Those were some loud cheers for Christabelle! Strong performance too, including the staging. She might have finally made it...

Either her or Richard & Joe please xpray

OK, I am really enjoying this song. It feels like it's charging along at a breakneck pace, but she is holding it together magnificently! I am being swept along somewhat and I especially love the choruses xheat

For ten seconds it looked really promising, but then turned cliche again. Why does no one show a little courage? Decent entry though.

This is very good (well for Maltese selections anyway :p) but the crowd don't seem particularly enthusiastic about any song so far!!

Ok, that was great. I'm fairly sure this is my favourite off the night. xheat Christabelle got the staging budget but Deborah took it with the song.
