Well, Luxembourg... you can choose anyone from this bunch.

Maybe One Last Time or ZERO POINT FIVE, and hope for a miracle ;)
ps. Wondering if Krick will release her song

I don't know ... what were they thinking? They release 7 songs and each one sounds mediocre and not exciting at all. It is hard to chose a fave from this bunch.
Guess I would either go with Luzac or MÄNA. But it is like chosing between pest or cholera tbh.

A bit of a decline from last year, where I enjoyed a lot of songs. My favorite would be Laura Thorn ahead of Rafa Ela and Zero point five.
Rhythmic Soulwave would be the worst choice imho. (Still not a catastrophic song at all, I just don't really connect with the voice and somehow the song is going nowhere.)

Not super impressed with the selection but Laura Thorn's song might be decent in the full version + live performance.

It's gotta be Laura Thorn, right?

Probably. I don't know how to translate "paraculata" in English, but the title of her song sure is a little "paraculata" as we say in Italian... You know: giving a name to a song in reference to an Eurovision legend who won the contest exactly 60 years ago, just to gain some preferences and votes here and there... That, exactly that.

Tumblr, mostly.

pity the term isn't paraculetto, because anyone can pull such references out of their arse.

I like the song though. It's playful whimsical, fun, unpretentious. Doesn't appear to take itself too seriously. These are all traits that could lead to a fun midcarder.

Rafa Ela is the only other one that gave me a glimmer of hope, but we've heard this type of entry before lol.

Avoid ALL of the others, thanks.

01 Luzac - Je danse 8/10
02 Rhythmic Soulwave - Stronger 6/10
03 Rafa Ela - No Thank You 6/10
04 One Last Time - Gambler's Song 5/10
05 Laura Thorn - La Poupée Monte Le Son 3/10
06 MÄNA - Human Eyes 3/10
07 ZERO POINT FIVE - Ride 2/10

Last year was much better, this is really disappointing. NQ will be save this year, i think worst NF so far this season.
My fave is Luzac, the only good and interesting song of this bunch, but i think a revamp is also need here.

I much prefer Luxembourg's selection this year, which isn't saying much as they probably had the worst NF in my opinion last year. But there are two or three songs here I certainly wouldn't mind hearing again, one even being quite charming.

Laura Thorn - La Poupée Monte Le Son = 8/10
Rhythmic Soulwave - Stronger = 7.5/10
Luzac - Je danse = 6.5/10
Rafa Ela - NO THANK YOU = 5/10
MÄNA - Human Eyes = 5/10
One Last Time - Gambler's Song = 3/10
ZERO POINT FIVE - Ride = 2/10

La Poupée Monte Le Son is super catchy and I think very nice fan service. I can see it working at the contest as it's fun and as Boris points out, unpretentious. Overall I like Stronger, although it does miss something. Unless the live is absolutely eargasmic, this is one to avoid. Doesn't stop me from appreciating it though as the composition is really rather lovely. Je danse I like less than the other two songs above I've mentioned but I have to say it's the song I feel has the most potential. It goes decently hard. A lot depends on the performance though.

I want Laura Thorn.xcheer
One Last Time is also good. Just like last year.

But Laura would fit so good into the vibe Tali has set last year. Frenchy-french fun uptempo pop, but more retro this time.

Well, as a Luxembourger, I'm disappointed but not surprised… RTL obviously didn't learn anything from all the faux-pas they made last year. How many of these songs were co-written by Scandinavians? Too many. We have so much interesting and a bit different music here now, and none of these songs reflect that. Ah well, maybe next year… 🤷‍♀️

P.S. I'm pretty sure that Laura Thorn's song was already part of the pre-selection/auditions last year (but with another singer)

I actually like the verses of "Je danse" but the chorus is tragic.
Personally, I don't think that any of the songs are great but I enjoy "Ride" the most.

Rafa Ela's song is tragic. It's even more generic, basic and forgettable than Malta's entry this year.
Like @Magimixer said, it's a very disappointing bunch of songs - most of them seem to be plastic/unnatural/basic/generic and slightly trashy leftover all from Europe.

Luxembourg, please show your talent, your voice! - 3 is a charm - hopefully, RTL and the juries will make better choices in 2026.

01 ZERO POINT FIVE - Ride 6/10
02 Laura Thorn - La Poupée Monte Le Son 5/10
03 Luzac - Je danse 4/10
04 Rhythmic Soulwave - Stronger 3/10
05 MÄNA - Human Eyes 2/10
06 One Last Time - Gambler's Song 1/10
07 Rafa Ela - No Thank You 0/10

This is even worse than Benidorm :(

Luxembourg should go internal (as they probably will according to the HoD) and select one of their indie acts.

This pairing of unknown singers with ESC songwriters from songwriting camps is not working.

Yeah they all sound like Melfest-1st-stage-rejects that were created with ChatGTP. So generic and forgettable pop. I really wonder hw to change this system to the better because for the moment the level ain't there for Lux Song Contest to evolve in anything exciting.

I like about half of these. Middle of the road. I'd say it's about the same as last year.

1. Laura Thorn - La Poupeé Monte Le Son.
With the right staging, I could see Laura Thorn placing in the top half of the Grand Final. Her high note towards the end is phenomenal.

2. Zero Point Five - Ride
It's a fun and catchy song. Could be a summer hit you listen to while driving with the windows down.

3. One Last Time - Gambler's Song
Overall, a solid entry. I like high notes, so the one at the end helps secure this in the top half of my rankings.

4. Luzac - Je Danze
I have it in the exact middle, and that's what this song is. Neither good nor bad. It's just alright.

5. Rafa Ela
I liked it in the beginning. As the song went on, it got more annoying and repetitive

6. Mäna - Human Eyes
Boring. Kept waiting for that big something, but it never came

7. Rhythmic Soulwave - Stronger
Does absolutely nothing for me. Leave it behind.

Since last week was soo busy I didn´t have the chance to listen to all the songs, now I´ve finally catched up.

Well, the overall level of the songs isn´t super terrible but sadly not really great either. It´s basically the epitome of "ok, and I don´t think it´ll be enough to reach the final in Basel. 😐

Here´s my ranking.

1. Zero Point Five - Ride: The "ohohos" in the chorus are a bit too much but otherwise I enjoy tihs soo much!! A nice folk tune for sunny days but also rainy and windy like today.

2. Laura Thorn - La Poupée Monte Le Son: I really like happy mood the song is spreading and her voice sounds also good. Everything would be alright if only the childish "nananas" wouldn´t be there, they drag it down a bit.

3. Luzac - Je danse: I like the rhythm and the chorus and makes me nodding with my head. But there´s still something missing for me, don´t know what it is though.

4. MÄNA - Human Eyes: Nice voice and overall it´s not bad. But I can´t say much more about it, it´s perfectly in the middle for me.

5. One Last Time - Gambler´s Song: I kinda enjoyed their entry last year, of course it wasn´t very innovative but I still liked it nethertheless. This entry doesn´t do that much for me though, sounds a bit like an album track by Imagine Dragons only without the distinct melodies and great voice of Dan Reynolds. Very flat and quickly forgotten, but at least not as unpleasant/boring as the songs below.

6. Rhythmic Soulwave - Stronger: These were the longest three minutes I´ve had in a very long time. I expected something uplifting, but in the end I got a boring soul song that would perfectly fit on the soundtrack of one of these cheesy Hallmark Christmas movies.

7. Rafa Ela - No Thank You: The title sums it up for me, the only song I couldn´t listen to til the end. It´s just very irritating on all levels, especially her voice. And generally I have to say this sounds kinda AI generated.

Rhythmic Soundwave's song sort of feels like the only one not made in a lab. One listen was enough for me though.

I guess Luzac and Laura Thorn have the most potential, but that's not saying much.

Incredibly disappointing selection.
