Not sure if this will get into the final. I give 2 points. It is just not my cup of tea.

Luxembourg Song Contest 2025 is now over. The winner is Laura Thorn - "La poupée monte le son" with 184 overall. Laura won the jury vote with 94 points, and finished second in the public vote with 90 points. Congratulations to Laura Thorn; she will now represent Luxembourg in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel in May.

The televote winner, with 110 points, was Zero Point Five - "Ride". Oddly enough, they finished last with just 16 points in the jury vote, but added together their combined score was 126 points (second place overall). Whatever next, the song which finished last in the jury vote ended up winning the public vote, and second overall. It just goes to show, everything can change when the public vote scores are revealed.

Well done to all seven artists tonight, no matter where on the scoreboard they placed with the juries, public and overall.

In all honesty La poupée monte le son has the best chance that Luxembourg could get in Basel, especially such song being the sequel from France Galls poupee. I dont think Luzac and co would achieve the same unless Rhythmic Soulwave provides that performance

Well, I only watched a Video of the winner, and, ehm... Luxembourg, if you didn't intend to try, why did you come back again?

Talis "Fighter" Was fine last year, but this is the filliest filler to ever filler for me. And than the bad mix of sounding 12 but including a part where she undresses. ~No~. Safe NQ for me personally, unless this ESC decides to become really, really bad.

i can not take the winner very serious, because it sounds like a JESC-song.
luzac/je danse was in my opinium a much better option with modern sound, too.
i like the sound from the past a lot but the winnersong gives me zero positive vibes from that time .
here are some positive vibes from a long time ago.

Thank you Luxembourg for the first personal highlight of the season.
It's a catchy, fun song on the surface, but it's much more!
For a long time follower of the ESC like me, it has so many layers of enjoyment:
- musically it has a nostalgic vibe that goes back to the 60s but is still connected to the present.
- once there it makes a link to two great winners of that era - no need to mention them, everybody knows what I'm talking about.
- it is at the same time a powerful response to the image of women depicted in those two songs, a modern deconstraction of the songs, the themes and the critique that already was inherent in those two classics. In fact, it takes over the vibe of France Gall and makes us remember the great Serge Gainsbourg.

Bottom line: it was Luxemburgs best choice, the logical one. Good luck for Basel!

Having said this - they need to work on the staging!

Good voice.
But this song definitely needs a revamp.
It can still be charming, without being jesc. Also, change this terrible stage performance and the awful outfit.
I will give a generous 5.

I think the revamp will fix the song. Just like it did with Fighter. Slight changes, but effective.

This is the 3rd national final when the jury selected the winner and the jury was failed. It’s not me saying this is a bad song because it’s not. I love it.

I just think the people need to decide their song not a 5 person jury

I've given it one listen. It's already stuck in my head, but at the same time it's not a "wow this is a great song" moment for me. Maybe if it gets a good revamp I'll like it more, so far it's just an okay filler song to me.
