I never follows Lithuanian NF, it is just pointless to have this many shows and hearing the songs over and over again...
But I listened to the 6 finalists and well..the Lithuanian awkwardness continues. Many feel amaturish, pointless, weird and cringeworthy in a really bad way I'm afraid.

But there is one song that at least leaves an impression on me, and that is Paulas "1 2 3". The song is rather catchy, still the typical lithuanian awkwardness we have seen many times in ESC, but it is actually to this songs advantage, it makes a rather strong impact on me and Paula is a good singer. And when I saw she threw the stool on the stage I was gagged literally and thought "What the heck is happening?!"

So yeah, Paula to Lisbon please!

Y'all know what, I'd've rather if either Paula or Kotryna won last year. The amount of not supporting telefans for Kotryna and the 3 point gap between her and Fusedmarc in the counted jury votes is gutting. She would've outclassed the Semi 2ers with her contribution to the Facevision... and would've looked more fun in postcards, too. (surprised our postcards last year didn't have our HoD in, lol) And Paula's last was an unjust.

some people in comments are saying the jury won't have any say into the final result... I call bs because that would make the competition for the 7th juror pointless.

Here's a funny sign though. Both times Ieva got 12 from both sides, I mean jury and televote (in heat 1 & semi 2), my Chrome couldn't handle the webstream so I switched on the TV to see her...

"Yes, I do" means so much to me. I've discovered yesterday what the song is about and now I can't do without, it moves me, 'cause I know how he feels. I've listened to it a lot today. A precious message delivered with simple words through the musical genre I adore, there's something new wave from the 80's I find irresistible. Nothing trash here, it's probably the best song among the finalists when it comes to songwriting and production.

But I know it's not something everyone can appreciate and support, especially among eurofans. Sadly there is still a difference between "Eurovision songs" and "songs". And this is... a song. So I can't see it winning (even if the contest changed a lot lately), but it would be your best entry since... I don't even know.

Never felt like following because its so mediocre, complicated and long to follow, so I usually just check the final songs and man how polarising this selection is

Ieva is the only one I can see in my top 10, whereas all other will probably be bottom 10, a some of which could even take last place

It's someone calling out the producers on creating the feeling of a 'fixed winner' (Monika & Vaidas, Donny Montell, Fusedmarc, and that now it's Ieva)... an article posted in a website around an area moderated by the head of the jury... that might be something a bit ouchy there

On the other hand, I wouldn't mind if they fixed it for them anyway. It's not that I care what some specific feminist wants out of Eurovision... as long as he doesn't incite a #MeToo incident among the ladies then I'm fine
