Jurgis Brūzga was in the Muzikos Salė 2018 (Muzikos Salė is an additional event co-hosted next to the Vilnius' Book Fair). the only one this year from our NF who was in the hall.
Ramūnas shows personal bias for him. The jury is giving him 12 now. Calling it!

Our X Factor season whateverth winner is up now as an interval act, with a song my classmates want me to sing most of the time.
Calling them for the next year's NF (even the hosts say so). Troll entry confirmed.

A little part of me inside died tonight after finding out that I can't have my favourite song of 2018 at Eurovision. But thank you Lithuania for "More Than You Know". I won't ever forget those synths, the hats, GeraiGerai's iconic jacket and Silvija's awesome voice. Just what a song.....................

I just hope that the jury finally learns to accept The Roop and doesn't give them a 6 in the final.
Imagine this: let's say they got 12 from televote and 6 from the jury. In total, 18. Ieva does viceversa with both - 12 from jury, 6 from televote. (and 10 and 8 swaps for other entries too so that could prove my imaginary situation's point better). Since the jury has more omnipotence, that way Ieva wins the final and case is closed.
It wouldn't work so well if they got 7 either because that way only 2nd place was achieved. However, if there's a randomly badly wrangled up to allow their victory to happen somehow, then it will happen. I personally don't think the winner, whoever it is, is not getting a 24 as the final score in the NF. Maybe 22 is just the ticket or something, but that's that. (Andrius won with only 20 points in his pocket but because the JURY was more supportive of him, and it showed when the juries's votes were revealed that between the top 3, the jury is most likely to pick Andrius.)
I guess that the only weapon to win for The Roop is their talked-about new version of the song they'd present on the final. However, revamps are makes or breaks, so it's either a jury shocker or a no-go. If this outshines all the Ievas, Jurgiss and Kotrynas for me then I'd probably be the happiest Lithuanian on March 11th 2018 just because of a silly European music contest and whoever will go there. xD or maybe these guys need an interesting stage show so that they could attract attention for at least 15 minutes
...but in the end, even if they (unexpectedly) went, they wouldn't beat Andrius's entry for me in the overall entry ranking But I would hold it close to my heart for sure. I'm invested in our selection that damn big this time and it better make me proud of being a Lithuanian in our 100 years of anniversary.
Sorry for my elongated gushing but I had to do it somewhere because in .net I'd sound like that one Dutch guy who loves Maan and 2017 big time and doesn't hesitate to spare some time for appreciating them in posts. And I don't wanna be that girl.

This selection gives me headache
I should be happy bc Kotryna is in the final but the way she scraped through makes me absolutely hopeless about her chances now How come she has the most Youtube views but flops so hard in televote? And now jury even preferred that godawful Jurgis guy urgh. And I see them preferring Ieva and Monika as well .. Man her song is so hot, it's in a whole other league to everything else this year (apart from certain rapper in Sweden). Need her in May :-(( That feeling your fav is having a slow painful death and you can't do anything about it </3

I'm happy to see Kotryna make it but we know the chances of her winning are a sliver. Same with Paula next week who's my other favourite left. I was getting so into this NF but now the hard reality is hitting. Only slight comfort for me is that I enjoy The Roop. That jury support though Man, this is gonna end in unhappy tears, isn't it?

Meanwhile I will pray my heart out and ass off for The Roop... well televoting wise I'm not the only one, nor in the Youtube or Delfi comments but I'm this kind of person who'd think that such type of songs will only be rooted by me but in fact there's a huge audience for it (quite as much as me and AWS before they slayed live in Heat 2P) and I suddenly love actually being in the majority...
If we could have a positive song in Eurovision for those who're battling depression. My country is losing out to be hypocritical for once. :/
