Well, actually, judging from what is written under the videos on Youtube, and thanks of Google Translate (hey I'm not Lithuanian ! ^^), I find the jury very clever. They give good advice to the participants based on what matches Eurovision and what always fails. Plus they judge on vocal abilities and they go safe, but that's with it that Lithuanie entered 3 times the final in 4 years... They always have ballads or joke entries... Well I would'nt listen to C'est ma vie a whole life (or just in order to go to bed easier maybe ! ) but Evelina could place first in the jury votes as she was by far the best singer. Well that's a deal, they don't go far with bombastic entries but they can make it, contrary to their northern unluky neighbour... ! :-)

Well actually, I would have gone for Vagelis or Bozole, but I'm not sure they can make it... Actually in the second semi I've hopes with Monika... Linas is great but the joking pattern is too "exotic" to make it in my country !

I just heart all the Lituanian songs...

and Gabriellius (with Sacrifice) is BY FAR the best song that Lithuania can choose!!

3. Neringa Šiaudikytė – Used To Be
4. Elvina Milkauskaitė - Closer
5. Gerai Gerai & Miss Sheep – War In The Wardrobe
6. Saulės broliai – Loreen
7. Božolė – Happy And Free
8. Timohi – Time For Life
9. Andrius Pojavis – Something

My comments:

Gerai Gerai & Miss Sheep – War In The Wardrobe is quite good song actually, nothing like typical ESC songs, but I don't know if it can stand out in ESC, it might be boring for this contest...

Neringa Šiaudikytė – Used To Be is a good song too, she's got good live vocals for such a song too. Can be a fan-favorite song if it wins! My #3 from this SF.

Gabrielius Vagelis – Sacrifice is still my favorite, I'm so sad it did so bad in the televoting. And indeed the live performance was far from the best last night... I still hope, it can be my #1 for the year if this song wins the NF!

Saulės broliai – Loreen - I see the fuss around this song is over, it came 2nd last while it won by landslide the previous round! It's a pleasant song overall, it has similar style with Iceland 2011, but the lyrics are so silly that it's almost like a joke entry!

Elvina Milkauskaitė - Closer - This is my #4 from this SF. It's a good song, but again not so suitable for ESC IMO.

Andrius Pojavis – Something - IMO the worst song from this SF.

Timohi – Time For Life - I don't hate it but I wouldn't like it in ESC either.

Gabrielius Vagelis & Ieva Zasimauskaitė - I Fall In Love - It is a sweet song, but IMO not a qualifier in ESC. I still like it, though.

Božolė – Happy And Free - This song came last in televoting? It's a good song but not as good as some others... It's boring actually...

I think Gabrielius still has a small chance to qualify, because the jury loves him.
I can see why people want him to win. It all seems professional, and it's a nice song, but also very safe. Like a song from a danish or norwegian NF. It hasn't got enough personality for my taste, and Gabrielius is beautiful, but like the song he's just too polished imo. I actually doubt a little that people would be this supportive of his song, if it wasn't for his looks

I don't think his looks have anything to do with this, Andrius Pojavis is cute too but I hate his song!

Well, some people might like it for the song itself. I was doubting it because I personally wouldn't even have taken notice of "Sacrifice" in the first place, if it wasn't for Gabrielius' cuteness

I haven't heard the songs from the second semifinal yet but this first semi final is horrible imo. I'd take Donny Montell or Sasha Son over any of these songs any day.

Who want to vote for a woman who call herself "Miss Sheep" and exactly what does this Gerai Gerai doing on stage? Trying to take away focus from Miss Sheep? As they aren't even trying to pretend it's a joke, it's like they're ashamed of her somehow. Terrible! The only charming act is the Božolė with the guy doing the Michael Jackson walk in Happy and free BMO.

Gerai Gerai & Miss Sheep have an interesting song. It´s like hypnotic. Very linear but somehow it manages to draw people´s attention to it. I couldn´t stop seeing the performance and I don´t really know what it made me feel. But I liked it. In a hypnotic way. It would be good to see how this song would work in Eurovision.
